Recordad que las cifras reportadas en el año entrante para películas estrenadas en 2017 computan en dicho año.

Un pequeño debate. POr los estrenos previsto este año, se superarán o al menos, alcanzarán las cifras de este año pasado? Yo creo que finalmente han sido unas cifras bastante buenas con el arreón final del año.

Me encanta cuando abre este hilo una persona seria y que entiende del tema.

Yo me quedo con el del segundo post

No han sido unas cifras malas las realizadas el año pasado. Los platos fuertes, en menor o mayor medida y alguna sorpresa (Wonder Woman para Warner), dieron sus buenos frutos. Incluso los que van recibiendo pedradas como Star Wars: Los Últimos Jedi.

Yo personalmente veo mucho más potente este 2018 que el 2017, sobre todo el verano, aunque también he de decir que a nivel de calidad este año que acabamos de dejar me ha sorprendido bastante para bien. He repetido un montón de pelis en el cine, más que nunca. El único pero ha sido el cine de animación, flojísimo. Menos mal que tuvimos Coco ya al final.

Bueno, a bote pronto la media de recaudación de las películas del Top 10 mundial de este año ha estado por encima respecto a las de 2016. Tal vez yo esperaba mas, pero no han sido malas, interesantes en todo caso.

Este 2018 puede ser mucho mas goloso, a priori proyectos que llegan en verano y navidades deberían ser capaces de facturar muchísimo por si solas. La pregunta para mi es ver que cifras podemos esperar por película, sus previsiones, vamos. Aunque esta claro que el rival a batir en taquilla este año será Infinity War.

Aunque esta claro que el rival a batir en taquilla este año será Infinity War.

No sé qué dirán los que más saben de taquilla del hilo, pero yo a priori no veo competición alguna: Infinity War será la número 1 del año de calle. La de Star Wars de este año es Han Solo, que llega en mayo, demasiado pegada al episodio VIII. Hará buenos números, pero no creo que esté a la altura de la de los Vengadores.

Y por lo demás, la única que podría, en teoría, competir es Jurassic World 2, pero tampoco la veo acercándose a lo que hizo la primera. Creo que aquello fue un fenómeno coyuntural en el que tuvo mucho que ver la nostalgia y el tiempo que llevaba parada la franquicia.

Me encanta lo que teorizamos (ojo, lo digo en el sentido bueno) y después la realidad nos da un sopapo en muchas ocasiones. A mi me encantaría que Bayona triunfara con la segunda como la primera, aunque esté muy difícil. Podría convertirse en una especie de autor en ese mundillo de los blockbuster, y así poder tener carta blanca para otros proyectos más personales, pero ahora con más pasta.

Hoy ha llegado a China Los últimos Jedi y difícil va a ser que supere los $40M de recaudación final.

De verdad que me alegro por Jumanji

Jurassic World El Reino Caido tiene muchísimo potencial. No es lo mismo una película de superheroes que cada tres o cuatro meses se estrena una que una de aventuras con dinosaurios que cada muchos años se estrena una. La expectación es mayor.

En cuanto al Spin off de Han Solo de Star Wars yo creo que Disney ya esta quemando la saga y eso se va a notar mucho en taquilla.

La franquicia Insidius es poderosa....

Lo de Jumanji ya es para flipar. Seguro que los de Sony no se esperaban todo esto. Y yo me alegra lo que veo.

Lo que está haciendo Jumanji es alucinante. El mayor descenso entre fines de semana que ha tenido fue de un 30% (fue el finde pasado y debido a que el finde anterior fue festivo). A este ritmo podría llegar a los 389 millones de Guardianes de la Galaxia 2 y ser cuarta de 2017. Y los 900 a nivel mundial son posibles, lo que la haría superar a Spiderman como quinta de 2017.

Muy cierto. Jumanji ha caído un 15%, pero The greatest showman solo un 10%. Se puede ir a los 160-170 de seguir ese ritmo. Superaría a La la land, y competiría con Chicago (y vete a saber si con Grease), por el segundo o tercer mayor musical de la historia sin ajustar por inflación (el primero, según BOM, es para La bella y la bestia).

En el fin de semana de la Superbowl, con la prevista bajada de taquilla, Jumanji vuelve a dominar el panorama yanqui.
Sus números son estratosféricos, tanto en USA como globalmente (855 M $). A nivel mundial ya ocupa el puesto 60 en la taquilla de la historia.
Y lo que comentábamos de The greatest showman. Después de siete semanas, no se despega de los primeros puestos
