Buenas,
"Nice to hear from you all the way from Spain. For a room of that size I would recommend at least two subwoofers, but of course you can start with one to see how it performs, and then add more in the future.
My recommendation is the 12.17 Edge. I will explain the diffrences in more detail, and you can read more on our website. The ICEpower technology used in the SA-1 subwoofer amplifier in the Edge model subwoofers is superior to both the regular 12.17 and the Cinema 1x12, and it has better sound quality, better control, lower noise, better components etc. and you get 5 year warranty (regular 12.17 and 1x12 only have 2 years for the electronics).
The 12.17 Edge also won "Best in test" (along with the SVS PB3000) title in a recent issue of Swedish Cinema Magazine "HemmaBio" and was up against competitors as: Canton Sub 12.4, Dali K-14 F, Emotiva S15, Klipsch C310ASWI, M&K Sound V12, Martin Logan Dynamo 1100X, Monitor Audio Silver W12, Paradigm Defiance X10, REL HT/1508 Predator, Sonance I12, Sunfire SDS12, SVS PB3000, SVS SB3000 and Yamaha NS-SW1000.
Also see the comparison (attached pdf, see link below) of prices, SPL etc. that we have put together from all the results in that test. Also please note that the SPL measurements are unique for the room they tested the subwoofers in, so it cannot be compared to measurements in other tests, but the subwoofers in the test can be compared to eachother. Spoiler: The SVS PB3000 has a 13 inch woofer, has a bigger box and costs around 1000 € (!) more and the XTZ 12.17 Edge had 4 dB higher SPL @ 20 Hz than the PB3000."
