Fox terminated its two-year deal with Singer and his Bad Hat Harry production company -in the middle of its first year - in the wake of the director's signing last month with Warner Bros. Pictures to direct a new "Superman" feature. Singer, who has begun working out of "Superman's" production offices at Warners, has not signed an overall deal with Warners, though he is developing a "Logan's Run" remake for the studio as well.

Singer had apparently been having talks with Fox about doing "X-Men 3", but the deal was never nailed down.<hr></blockquote>
