En la previa de los Oscar/alfombra roja, la MTV entrevistó a Scarlett Johansson y le preguntaron por la posible película de Black Widow, en concreto si había hablado con Joss Whedon sobre ello y dijo:
“Of course, we talk about it all the time… We text each other back and forth.” Johansson said. “Little spidey emojis.”
El tono de Scarlett sugiere que, aunque no mienta, no deje de ser algo circunstancial. Quien sabe, ojalá termine saliendo.
En comicbook.com tienen razón: You want it, I want it. Joss Whedon wants it. And Scarlett Johansson? She definitely wants it. But ‘wanting’ doesn’t mean it will actually happen.

En el estreno de Age of Ultron fue algo más directa y dijo que haría la película Black Widow si la dirigía Whedon:

Las actrices quieren y respetan mucho a Whedon. Lo cual no es ninguna sorpresa, teniendo en cuenta los caramelos de personajes que les escribe. Debe ser reconfortante también, siendo mujer en la industria y teniendo que enfrentarse a los condicionantes de la edad y el físico.

Que lo consiga con una mecánica espacial que, lejos de ser lo esperado -a saber, ruda y masculina- es lo más dulce que se ha visto en el espacio, es prueba de ello. Perdón, es que ya pienso en revisar Firefly y me pongo nervioso.
Al tajo. A mi el personaje de Black Widow, pues ni idea, no la conocía hasta que la vi en Iron Man 2 y ciertamente tiene su punto, por su condición plenamente humana y por género, incluso por el aparente de lo geográfico. En si mismo es de los personajes que permiten mayor juego con su pasado y psicología. Dicho esto, si lo escribe y dirige Whedon me interesaría de pleno, claro.
