Nada, al final no hay nada. Misma cosa que en 2018 con un peor audio original 2.0 (en vez del 5.1 basado en el 70mm, no confundir con el Atmos)

Huele a q lo usarán en otro pack más adelante o algo asi, cuando el rio suena....

No se sabe si la Italiana lleva castellano aun no ?

Con disco en mano, no. Pero parece según filtraciones que los 4K tienen castellano todos. Los Blu rays son los mismos de antes así que depende de eso.

En Superman IV, veo que hay un Spanish 1.0. Es posible que sea el doblaje original? O bien es latino? Estaría bien que editasen la IV con el montaje que vimos aquí en VHS.

Hay dos Spanish, uno de ellos es castellano y otro latino. Ya que doblaje es no se decirte. Ya han cobrado y enviaran pronto los steels italianos asi que pronto tendrás respuestas.

Aunque sea 2.0, es totalmente posible que sea mono, con el audio repetido en los dos frontales, lo que sería de facto un 1.0

Es la edición UK.

Warner si indica 2.0 suele ser estéreo o Dolby Surruond, cuando es mono mete un sólo canal, yo creo que es la única que lo hace, hablo de memoria, pero me parece que es así, incluso con DTS-HD usa un sólo canal.

Muchas gracias, la intención es lo que cuenta y seguramente sea así, pero "Confirmado por un amigo" no es una confirmación válida. En el hilo de ediciones confirmadas, hace muchos años se estableció muy claro cómo se confirman las cosas en el foro .

Disco en el reproductor. De primera mano. Uno mismo. El amigo de mi amigo no vale.

Si es el montaje cinematográfico a Margot Kidder le va a sentar estupendamente.

A ver si cuando lleguen esos packs Italianos se acaban de saber audios de uhds y bds y si las "chuches" vienen en Inglés...

Manda kiwis que siendo quizás la más esperada de las 4 (la 1 ya estaba en uhd) sea la que más problemas tenga. Eso hace que tenga aún menos ganas de pillar el pack.
A la espera de que eso sea así corroborado por alguien del foro, creo que mucho va a tener que bajar para que acabe picando.

El set de Superman se empieza a parecer al del Rocky.

1:
-Uses previous poor 4K master.
-Removes the great sounding 70mm track, and replaces it with a much poorer sounding 35mm track.

2:
-Possibly some poor grading choices.
-In the Atmos track, there's brief distortion in the music during the titles during when Superman saving the school bus and train, and again at 1:33:26 as General Zod says "Wait there."
-Donner Cut has squished shot near the end.

3:
-Might also have some poor grading choices + wonky brightness/contrast changes.

4:
-Atmos track uses incorrect music takes that sound much worse than the original.

Plus 2 & 3 also had 70mm tracks that were included on the Blu-rays, but not included here for whatever reason.

A. Superman I is the same transfer now minus 70mm 5.1. Long story short, If you don't have that old release, you better buy it quick. Gonna be scalped faster than the Roanoke colony.

B. Donner Cut II is indeed an upscale. And a bad one at that because the original work was already cheaply and poorly done. So yeah the fake grain/pixelation noise that was so awful even on the old blu-rays is even worse here. Greaaaaaat. Oh and there's an added bonus of the stock shot of Supes winking at the camera being horizontally squished. Great job!!!

C. Lester II and III appear to be fine. Original 5 and 4.1 reprocessed into atmos. Seems unnecessary but whatever.

D. You already know about this bizarre Atmos remix of Superman IV (a film that only had a 2.0 track on all previous releases). Happily the original mix is there too so its kinda moot, even though the remix is the default. Also as Superman IV was shot with a budget of fifty cents using crappy Cooke Xtal JDC lenses, your 4k mileage may very.

E. Jim Bowers, who still hasn't elaborated as to what happened to that 4k rescan of I he claimed to have been involved with, says on twitter that a less talented colorist did the HDR grade on both cuts of II, as opposed to a much better one on III and IV. Take that under advisement.
