Universal Pictures Home Entertainment revealed today that it will release the beloved Back to the Future Trilogy on 4K Blu-ray in 2020. The upcoming release will be part of the studio's big 35th anniversary celebration of the legendary franchise.

"Universal is going back in time to celebrate 35 years of the beloved film franchise – Back to the Future – starting today, on the iconic fan-created anniversary date captured in the film when Marty McFly travels back to the future: October 21, 2015. Over the next year, fans around the world will be treated to new, inspired-by merchandise across a variety of categories, theatrical re-releases, anniversary celebrations, digital content and more.

Today, YouTube Originals and Ample Entertainment launched the new learning series, "Could You Survive the Movies" – an exciting series dedicated to exploring the magic and science of cinema's most iconic pop culture films, including "Back to the Future." In each episode, YouTube creator and host Jake Roper takes you on an immersive journey into the world of a different movie; blending unscripted scientific exploration with narrative storytelling. In the premiere episode, Jake steps into the original 1985 film to find out if you could survive the massive pressure wave generated by a giant guitar amp, time travel paradoxes, and the electricity from a lightning bolt travelling through your body…all while desperately trying to get back to the future! Imagino y espero que aquí también. Eso sí, si las dos primeras me encantan, la tercera me parece un mierdon de proporciones gigantescas.

Pues de momento, la noticia UHD del año, no?

Mis plegarias fueron atendidas, fui de los pocos que no compró ninguna de las ediciones en blu-ray esperando a una supuesta edición definitiva (en cuanto a calidad de imagen, no en cuanto a "chuches") y mira por dónde...

Ahora ya solo falta que anuncien Indiana Jones, y que Disney edite UHDs en España, y ya puedo fenecer tranquilo.

Pues yo fui de los muchos que compramos no una sino dos ediciones en blu, las disfrutamos debidamente en su momento y ahora volveremos a hacerlo con los UHD's...

Espero que arreglen por fin el cagarro de imagen del BD.

Tengo el primer pack bluray casi...aguante a todas las chuches solo por ver mejor imagen. Por fin¡!¡!

Que dices!!! Es la mas floja, pero son tres peliculones. Pero bueno para gustos...

Y ya que se ponen que saquen todo el material extra de Eric Stoltz. Estaria bien xd.

No le va a todo al mundo, a mi tampoco me va

Joe... pos qué cosa más rara!!! Porque justamente a mí no me ha llegado mail con dicho Código... sin embargo, me funcionó!!! (aunque "curiosamente", sí me llegó uno, muy parecido, pero para el mismo descuento en Amazon.IT... )

Lo siento, viendo en el hilo de Amazon que lo pusieron y funcionaba a varios, pensé que funcionaría a todo el mundo... mea culpa!!!

A mí no me disgusta, creo que es imaginativo, lo que pasa es que individualmente es algo feito. La portada de la caja de cartón no me parece fea, pero hay mucho mejores. Me espero mejor que salgan en pack sencillo

¿Será caja de cartón?

Con steelbooks hemos tenido ediciones de este tipo (de memoria, Batman o Harry Potter) que venían con caja metálica acolchada por dentro.

En cuanto a las portadas de los steels, yo hubiera preferido que ese tipo de artwork conjunto lo hubieran hecho con los lomos, tipo Juego de Tronos.
