Parece que la edición sencilla Italiana ya está disponible en tiendas físicas de allí, y hay quién ya la ha adquirido.
Comentan que los fondos parecen tener mejor acabado en cuanto a texturas y demás, comparado con la copia digital en 4K SDR que estuvo disponible en su momento antes de ser retirada de la circulación ( y que han podido comparar con el disco físico por que aun circula por ahí) y el CGI en general parece más pulido. El contraste de la imagen también parece haber sido retocado, y la imagen ya no da esa sensación de estar ligeramente lavada. En cualquier caso, todo es muy sutil.
Únicamente hay disponibles subtítulos en italiano tanto para la película como para los contenidos adicionales.
En cuanto a los extras se confirma que hay un audiocomentario de Coppola, un breve mini reportaje detrás de las cámaras, y un par de documentales de generosa duración.
PD: Y si, el disco cuenta con Dolby Vision para el vídeo y Dolby Atmos para el audio.

Más cosas, la película tiene los carteles y demás que aparecen durante el metraje traducidos al Italiano y esto no se puede modificar de ninguna manera: se especula con que pueda suceder lo mismo con la edición francesa y la británica, con lo cual la autoría (y los subtítulos), serían específicos para cada país.
Sobre el audiocomentario de Coppola, parece ser que lo primero que dice nada más empezar la película es lo siguiente: Hola a todos, soy Francis Coppola y contrariamente a lo que hayais podido leer y escuchar sobre mí en los últimos dos años, ni estoy loco, ni estoy senil, ni soy adicto a la marihuana (!), y Megalopolis es exactamente como yo quería que fuese.
