Habría que decir que no edita mucho, de hecho, de memòria, solo recuerdo Cinema Paradiso y Crash.
Aunque tienen los derechos en España de muchas películas que sí se han editado en 4k fuera.
Especulo que quizá esos dos lanzamientos se debieron a una buena oportunidad de mercado, y quizá, en el futuro, sí se dan parecidas oportunidades haya más lanzamientos.

He visto que en la página web de los viñedos de Coppola (la parte que le queda, entiendo), venden no sólo vino, sino también comida: embutidos, pasta, aperitivos varios. Hacen envíos a Europa.
Si yo fuese el lo que haría lo siguiente: por cada pedido que supere X cantidad de dinero, se reserva una copia firmada del futuro DVD, BD, o UHD de Megalópolis.
Negocio seguro. Y ya que estamos, podría abrir un crowdfunding para ayudar en la financiación de su siguiente película.

Al parecer hay unos pocos minutos del tercer acto -los trípticos- rodados con la Alexa Mini a 1:43:1. El resto del film está rodado en 2:00:1 con la Arri Alexa 65. La gradación de color de la película es un homenaje directo -e intencional- al estilo de Vittorio Storaro, con el que Coppola ha colaborado en múltiples ocasiones.
¿Cómo gestionarán esto en la edición doméstica?

StudioCanal se queda con los derechos en territorio europeo para su exhibición en TV y plataformas de streaming durante 7 años. Curiosamente, el acuerdo excluye a España, Francia y Rusia. Nada de formato físico en ningún país.

Aprovechando que Megalópolis se ha lanzado hoy en Estados Unidos digitalmente (compra y alquiler) en las plataformas habituales (Apple, Amazon, Vudu...), Lionsgate ha aprovechado para reconfirmar que el próximo 25 de Enero editará la película en formato físico (Blu-Ray y UHD, con opción de steelbook). Eso si, no sabemos nada de nada aún sobre los posibles extras que pueda contener la edición (documentales, audiocomentarios).

Francia, Italia y USA. Países donde se estreno en cines y donde recaudo más que en España. La que rompe la regla es Alemania donde también se estreno pero recaudo menos que aquí (pero tienen un mercado doméstico mucho más potente que el nuestro).
Veo negro que alguien la saque aquí.
Tripictures solo compro los derechos para cine, no los tiene ni para streaming ni para físico.

Me refiero a que vería más probable que saliese en físico si una de las habituales hubiera comprado todos los derechos de la película.
Cuando la película es un fracaso (conste que me gustó) es más fácil que salga asi en físico, por aquello de que ya has pagado los derechos, a qué una segunda compañía se anime a comprarlos solo para el formato físico.
Desde que compro los derechos de cine tripictures y la película no funcionó, yo vi el tema del físico negro. Ojalá me equivoque.
Aunque bueno, ni tan mal sacándola Lionsgate. Reservada la tengo desde que la anunciaron. Eso sí, yo no he visto en ningún lado que la de Lionsgate salga en steelbook.

La versión digital disponible ahora mismo en Apple no lo incluye, solo se ofrece en 4K SDR. Esto lo puedo confirmar de primera mano, Si que se ofrece, en cambio, el audio en Dolby Atmos.
