Tema: La mujer rey (The Woman King, 2022, Gina Prince-Blythewood)

Disponible desde hace unos días en tiendas digitales en USA; en España se acaba de estrenar hoy ya 25 de noviembre en cines. En USA sale en DVD, Blu-ray y UHD el día 13 de diciembre. Imagino que aquí nos llegará en Febrero de 2023 o como mucho marzo. La incógnita está en averiguar si saldrá por aquí en UHD también. Imagino que sí, ya que hay reservas de UHD para la película abiertas en Francia y UK, al contrario que la película "Lilo, mi amigo el cocodrilo".. Veremos qué repara. La película tiene buena pinta; espero que salga aquí para ahorrarme enormes gastos de importación, pero si no sale, la pillaré igual de cualquier manera. OJO; aunque la nota de prensa que aquí citaré no menciona Dolby Vision, lo tiene, la contraportada lo indica.

Ya puestos a sacar pelis en 4k de negros vs malvados colonialistas blancos, que saquen también "Zulu" , "Amanecer Zulu", "Caravana hacia el sur", y "Las cuatro plumas 2002 y 1939", que estan antes......

Te sorprendería saber que la peli no tiene ese enfoque. Va más sobre las mujeres guerreras y el pueblo en sí. Los "colonistas" blancos son secundarios. Lo que también es secundario que aparece también, pero de pasada, es que el pueblo negro también vendía esclavos. Es mencionado por la protagonista. Que no le gusta.

Las pelis historico-bélicas, ambientadas en la época colonial suelo verlas todas. Es una época que da mucho juego en el cine. Esta cuando esté disponible en alguna plataforma de las que tengo, la veré también.

De las que he mencionado antes con muchas ganas de que las editen algún día, como no sea la de "Zulu" de Cy Enfield, será dificil que las veamos en 4k. Algunas es que ni las hemos visto en bluray por aquí (las infraeditadas en BD -R no las cuento).

Dicen los rumores y las malas habladurías que aquí saldrá la peli solo en Blu-ray y no en UHD; a pesar de que este UHD al contrario que el de Lilo, mi amigo el cocodrilo, parece que si saldrá al menos en dos o tres países. UK y Francia lo tienen en reserva. A ver si sale alguna confirmación pronto, para saberlo y cuando me pille la peli, lo haga junto con la de Lilo a la vez.
