The 4K UHD copy of The Hunt for Red October looked absolutely beautiful as it played out across my television. Everything from the scenic backgrounds to the more up close and personal shots really shined, allowing for everything to still feel like it did when I was younger. Providing viewers with a decent amount of improvement over the 2008 Blu-ray release of the film, the overall utilization of HDR and Dolby Vision with this disc is where this release ultimately shines. Colors are noticeably more crisp and clean, and the darker undertones are certainly presented much better.

Yo también la he comprado en el 2X1 junto a otros muchos títulos y posiblemente la visione esta noche, pero ya se sabe que en estos títulos la principal mejora la vamos a tener en la propia codificación gracias a una mejor compresión de vídeo. Después que la gran parte de la película transcurra en salas de control permitirá una mayor expansión dinámica del rango dinámico de la imagen gracias a las luces de los aparatos electrónicos y zonas oscuras mejor resueltas. Yo espero un trabajo tan sobresaliente como en Die Hard. Ya veremos

Die hard para mi no es una edicion sobresaliente aunque si muy notable y una gran mejora. Octubre rojo es peor edicion si comparas ambas. Pero para 2x1 esta bien.
