In the near future, video games have evolved to a point where they are able to biologically interact with players through the use of an electronic umbilical cord. Allegra Geller has created eXistenZ, a highly anticipated virtual reality game which has come under fire for its potential ability to effectively warp players' perceptions of reality. When an anti-game zealot attempts to murder Allegra during a demo, she narrowly escapes with the help of her publicist, Ted Pikul. However, Allegra discovers that the only master copy of the game might have been damaged during the attack and convinces Ted to test it with her. After Ted reluctantly agrees, the pair enter the virtual world of eXistenZ, but it’s not long before they start becoming uncertain as to where the violent gameplay ends and reality begins...

Yo les compré en 2021 el 4K de Ticks y ningun problema,llega mediante Fedex,sino recuerdo mal no hubo que pagar aduanas pero podria equivocarme

Vinegar avisa que se está agotando. Ya van vendido 2/3 de 10.000 unidades.

Nunca ha habido aduanas por parte de VS lo que sí a veces recibimos cartas por error pidiendo el pago que asumen ellos. Con ignorar basta.

Me he comprado una por 4,6€ (tenía mogollón de puntos acumulados).

Yo la recibí hace dos semanas…muy bonita edición, aunque muy cara para lo que es.
Aún no he visto la película…

La película no la vi en su momento, finales del 99 con todo el tema del Efecto 2000 y las películas de realidad virtual en apogeo, y vaya, merece mucho la pena. Me ha recordado en muchos momentos a "Videodrome" pero con dosis de "Días extraños".

La edición es gordaca y con un tacto único. La calidad de imagen es muy cinematográfica, muy pre-digital era.

A mi me parece un peliculon. Y la edición estupenda, tanto en calidad de imagen como en presentación; eso si, de precio elevado para lo que es (algo habitual por desgracia)

¿Hay algún análisis o capturas del UHD en algún sitio?

Creo que todas las ediciones en blu-ray tenían un aspecto bastante "peculiar" en cuanto a definición y textura, y al ser algo general pensaba que tendría que ver con el material original... No creo que ningún UHD parta de aquella imagen, por lo que tengo curiosidad por la calidad.

Blues dominate although all colors embolden significantly - flesh tones cool and grain is both more prominent and consistent. The Vinegar Syndrome is in 1.85:1 actually showing more information than the 101 Films 1.78:1 frame - mostly visible on the side edges. What's notable in the 2160P resolution is the rise in detail. This is really a big jump over the slightly digitized UK Blu-ray. The 4K UHD does not share the edge enhancement halos. This new 4K is flawless if it is expressing the, now intense, colors accurately.

Yo lo tengo y disfruté mucho la película; aparte de la mejora evidente en el color y la definición, por las cuestiones obvias inherentes al formato, también me parece que el contraste es más natural. Y como dice el análisis, se amplía incluso el ratio... Vamos, que si te interesa, yo no dudaría en hacerme con ella (quizá ya esperando a las rebajas de mayo, dado que la edición limitada se encuentra descatalogada).
