Buenosimo el video INDIANAFIVE, ajajaj. Comienza la nueva etapa de Star Wars. Dentro de 4 meses, y pico, se estrena el segundo trailer de Star Wars Episodio VII: El Despertar De la Fuerza.

No hay nada como pasárselo bien en una boda... llevaba tantos años con ella que lo que queríamos los dos era más una fiesta que una boda seria.

Hubo música de cine en la ceremonia, con un Juez de Paz que hizo un discurso cinéfilo (amigo nuestro), la entrada del novio (mía) con un DeLorean, decoraciones de cómics y pelis vintage, aperitivos en compañía de R2D2 y Stormtrooper, etc.

Veo mucho color rojo ¿El caza de un guardia imperial..? Siempre fueron los que más me gustaban, daban mucho miedo, aunque salían muy poco...

Indiana, qué envidia me das... ¿Por qué mi boda no es así? Lo dicho, felicidades de nuevo. Una gozada de boda y ese duelo de sables, brutal (se nota que lo habías preparado).

A mí me gusta el diseño del Tie, me recuerda un poco al de Vader, ¿será el del Inquisidor?

Las portadas de las ediciones especiales son bestiales sobretodo cuando las juntas.





De las precuelas no me quejo, pero a Drew Struzan le faltó ese detalle de que formaran "un todo".

George Lucas Talks Selling Lucasfilm to Disney, Original Plans for Episode VII

A little more than two years ago George Lucas shocked the world when he announced he was selling Lucasfilm to Disney and that Star Wars Episode VII would be released in 2015. Many assumed that the Disney sale was what got Lucas working on the new films, but apparently there's more to it than that. Lucas spoke with USA Today recently about his upcoming animated film Strange Magic, which will be released later this month, and naturally the topic of Star Wars was brought up. Lucas revealed that he originally intended to make Episode VII himself and then sell his company to someone else to make the rest of the trilogy based on his outlines.

According to USA Today,
Lucas already started to develop the next three Star Wars films, but he knew a third trilogy was a 10-year commitment at least. He at first expected to finish Episode VII, release it in May 2015 and then sell the company afterward.

But Disney expressed interest and came along at the right moment, Lucas says. "It's better for me to get out at the beginning of a new thing and I can just remove myself."

As for why Lucas was willing to sell and didn't want to make another ten year commitment is his young daughter. Lucas and his new wife Melody Hobson's daughter Everest Lucas was born via surrogacy in June 2013 and Lucas wants to be able to spend as much time with his young child as possible. He told USA Today, "The time is more important to me than the money."

Lucas also touched upon his one regret from his time on Star Wars and why he's excited about the next film. He said,
"The only thing I really regret about Star Wars is the fact I never got to see it — I never got to be blown out of my seat when the ship came over the screen. The next one, I'll be able to enjoy it like anybody else."

I don't think any of us can blame Lucas for wanting to have the same experience we've all had as a result of his work and hopefully JJ Abrams and crew can make a film that gives Lucas that experience. Also, I think it's fascinating to get this insight into how Lucas originally intended to make the sequel trilogy. We'll never know what a George Lucas directed Episode VII will look like or how different Lucas' vision for the sequels is from what we see on screen beginning December 18th, 2015 (ok, maybe we'll find out the latter 30 years from now in a "Making Of The Force Awakens" book)

Hamill sobre George Lucas:

"Veo que [George Lucas] esta feliz, esta casi irreconocible. Porque cuando yo estaba con él [en la trilogía original], estaba preocupado sobre todos los detalles, así que no tenía tiempo para divertirse. Para él parece que es un buen sitio, es emocionante".

Conflicting Reports on What the Second 'The Force Awakens' Trailer Will Contain

Everyone got very excited last week when a rumor hit the web that the second trailer for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens would contain footage of Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford, aka "The Big Three." But a new report from /Film suggests that may not be the case. /Film writer Germain Lussier wrote regarding the new report that,

"You see, the source who tipped us off to the new trailer told us something almost totally different. They said the original trilogy characters would not be featured in the marketing because Lucasfilm wants to keep their specific roles as secret as possible. Plus, with so many new characters, worlds, ships, etc. to sell people on, they don’t want to show too much familiar stuff. They want it to be Star Wars, but a new Star Wars, like the first teaser trailer. Familiar yet different.

Our source never said we wouldn’t see the characters at all. It was just strongly implied they would be in the background."

He does, however, acknowledge that plans could have changed since he last heard from his source and perhaps the idea to bring the old cast to the forefront of the next trailer is a new one. He writes,

"Could this strategy, one we heard about in late November, have changed? Could Disney have decided to put the original trilogy characters in the marketing? Like most things, the truth will most likely be found in the middle.

Let’s be honest. There’s no way the filmmakers will totally hide all of the original trilogy characters out of the marketing. To once again see Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher as those iconic characters is going to be an unforgettable moment for most Star Wars fans, this one included. But those Star Wars fans are already Star Wars fans. Think about the kids. The kids who are seeing The Force Awakens like their parents before them. Young, fresh, not quite sure what to expect. Those are the fans who Disney needs to rope in to make the billions upon billions of dollars they plan to for the next 20, 30, 40 years. And how do you do that? By showing some 70-year-old man jumping around with a blaster? Or some cool new, young heroes and villains battling it out? In most likelihood, both, because this is a movie about the passing of the torch. A movie about the new generation taking over for the old generation in a Galaxy Far, Far Away."

I have to say, I like the original strategy put forth of hiding the classic characters, for the most part, until the film comes out. We all know they're going to be in the movie, so why not focus on introducing us to the new characters? I expect that if we do see them in a trailer, and to be honest I believe that will almost certainly happen, it will be quick flashes or voice-over leading up to a quick reveal, with the majority of the focus being on Rey, Finn, Poe, and whoever else they decide to put in the trailer. It's not that I don't want to see the big three in a trailer, it's just that I would rather see Star Wars focusing on the future instead of coasting on the past and I worry that too much focus on the old characters sends the wrong message about the film. I expect we'll find out the truth about the new trailer at Celebration Anaheim, this April.

¿Aparece de nuevo Darth Vader? Lo más lógico es pensar que es un flashback, pero no las tendría todas conmigo. Esas armaduras de los Stormtroopers no estoy nada seguro que sean las clásicas.
