This auction is for a rare, Artist Proof sample of the Witch-king of Angmar Statue. The 16" tall polystone statue, depicting the evil minion of Sauron in his ‘true form’, is from Series Three of Sideshow Collectibles’ ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers’ statue collection. Released in 2003, this statue was limited to a 1,000 piece edition, as well as a small number of Artists Proofs, which were reserved for the movie studio executives, the filmmakers and Sideshow partners. Critical acclaim and Oscar nominations brought this second film world-wide attention and sent the demand for the LOTR: Two Towers collectible line skyrocketing.

This statue was sought after as it is the only depiction of the Fell Beast in Sideshow’s The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King statue series. Released in 2003, this statue was limited to a 3,000 piece edition, as well as a small number of Artists Proofs, which were reserved for the movie studio executives, the filmmakers and Sideshow partners. This auction is for a chance to own one of the most sought after Sideshow Collectibles, an Artist Proof Gandalf the White on Shadowfax statue. This hand painted and crafted item is approximately 22 inches high and made of polystone. It was released in 2004 as part of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King’ statue collection and was rival to the Ringwraith on Steed statue released from the earlier ‘Fellowship’ collection. This was a manufacturer’s limited edition, which included a small number of Artists Proofs, which were reserved for the movie studio executives, the filmmakers and Sideshow partners. This auction is for Legolas Greenleaf Statue polystone hand signed by actor Orlando Bloom, who plays the Elven prince of Mirkwood in ‘The Lord of the Rings’ movies. This twelve inch tall, hand painted statue was released in 2002 as part of Series Two of Sideshow Collectibles’ ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring’ statue collection. Mr. Bloom signed this item across the entire top of the display base allowing the viewer to admire the statue as well as the signature it stands on.
