Tema: Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone, 2006)

Uff... Para mí -en mi humilde opinión- segundas partes nunca fueron buenas, salvando excepciones, y ya ni te hablo de la 4º parte y la 6º de Rambo y Rocky...

¿Donde las harán?
¿En el geriatrico?
¿De qué tratarán?
¿Más de lo mismo?
¿A quién se enfrentarán?
¿A la artritis?

Con lo fácil que es dejarlas tal y como están e invertir en nuevas películas, basadas en libros de ciencia-ficción o de fantasía heróica.

He says that ROCKY VI will not be made by Dreamworks as far as he knows.

It looks like MGM and Sly might come to an agreement instead of battling each other in court. If The Contender is a hit, the new Rocky: Legends game is a hit (in stores December) and the new Rocky box-set is a hit (THE ROCKY ANTHOLOGY due out in December), then Rocky VI will sure to get made!".

And of course, there's still hope for "Rambo 4" with talk that Dimension Films might be about to get going on it.<hr></blockquote>

There's been less information about "Rambo 4" in the past few months then there's been Maxwell Caulfield pics showing at the multiplex. Something to keep fans of sweating, bullet-scattering, bandana-wearing John Rambo happy until an official announcement - Dimension are supposedly doing something with it - hits : a treatment for the fourth film.

No idea if this is the one that the studio are going to go with, but the title "Rambo IV : Holy War" has been branded about before, so chances are it could very well be the template for the next testosterone-tanked installment. It'll be of interest to Sly fans anyway.

In it, Rambo would be working as an environmentalist at the United Nations, NY, when the UN assembly is hijacked by sadistic Islamic terrorists. Rambo tries to take down the terrorists, knowing that his Afghani-adopted son is one of the terrorists.<hr></blockquote>

...una pena que el dinero haya convertido esta saga en una caricatura de sí misma porque la primera parte de Rambo es una joyita..., y la primera de Rocky un as...

Lo curioso es que Rambo, guionísticamente, es infumable y peligrosa, pero técnicamente tiene tanto poder que siempre la aguanto con los ojos abiertos hasta el final (la segunda, digo).

What's a "Rocky" movie without Uncle Paulie hey?

Burt Young, whilst talking up the new "Rocky" DVD set, says there's still movement on the sixth film in the series, and if all goes well, he'll be back to annoy the Balboa clan.

"There's a snag with some of the studio people," he tells Canada.com. "Sylvester was very anxious. He spent half a year writing different editions of the story. We'll see."

Young says the script for the film - which is based on George Foreman's comeback bout - is "beautiful".

Young says he's also going to pop up on Sly's new series "The Contender". But first, they had to settle a bit of a tiff they'd been having.

Young says he had disagreed with elements of "Rocky 5" in which Paulie naively mishandled Rocky's money and threatened to kill himself. He was hurt that Sly, unlike in the past, had ignored his suggestions for improvements.

"So, for a short while we didn't talk," he explains. "But now he has this reality fight show (Mark Burnett's The Contender), so they asked me if I would show up, you know? And I was pleased to hug him and forget the time lost."<hr></blockquote>

Seems Sony's unite with MGM might've been a bit of a blessing for the Italian Stallion.

Whilst MGM were about as interested in making Sly's proposed "Rocky 6" as the Academy is of putting Babs Streisand on a nomination ballot, Sony apparently are.

Talking to TV's "Dennis Miller Live", the big guy announced that Sony are keen to bring back Balboa, and that it's shaping up nicer than a prized sand-castle.

In "Rocky 6" - previewed in this month's debut issue of 'Sly' magazine - the glove-wearing Boxer, now now a restaurateur, is struggling to get over the death of his wife Adrian, whilst trying to mend a broken relationship with his son. The opponent of the pic is heavyweight champion of the world, Mason Dixon.

It's believed Sly's son, Sage, who starred alongside his famous pop in "Rocky 5", has been attending meetings with his Pa, so it looks like he'll be back playing Rocky Jr again.

La productora Nu Image/Millennium Entertainment han adquirido los derechos cinematográficos de la saga de 'Rambo', con el propósito de comenzar el rodaje de Rambo IV en Sofia (Bulgaria) en enero del 2006, filmando también en India y Estados Unidos.

Sylvester Stallone, el actor que interpretó a Rambo en la trilogía, ha firmado un contrato con esta compañía para volver a interpretar a este personaje en la cuarta entrega. El filme contará con un guión adaptado por el propio Stallone, siguiendo la corriente de este personaje y sus raíces vengativas. Según el actor, la nueva entrega mostrará a un Rambo familiar, quien ha pasado ya quince años viviendo en paz, aunque aun trabajando como militar. Pero cuando un grupo de extremistas blancos intentan secuestrar a su hija de diez años, Rambo regresa a la acción.
