Qué recuerdos me ha traído ese "Spaceman". Gracias por subirla, tomaszapa, la tenía olvidada.

Yo os traigo una joya del soul español (pero no en español, por eso no va en el otro hilo). El grupo madrileño Top Pops reclutó al cantante de Trinidad y Tobago Phil Trim, y en 1968 grabaron esta maravilla titulada "Oh Lord, Why Lord", que no sólo fue número 1 en España, sino en otros países europeos.
La canción habla sobre el racismo, y se escribió a partir del asesinato de Martin Luther King. Estoy convencido de que si se hubiera grabado en EEUU por un cantante de allí, hoy se la reconocería como un clásico en todo el mundo. La voz de Trim es prodigiosa, una de las mejores que ha pasado por nuestra música:
