El Chat de la PS4, soportara hasta a ocho usuarios

Según uno de los social managers de Sony, Sid Shuman, ha dicho que el Chat de la PS4, soportara hasta a ocho usuarios simultaneamente.

“El chat de voz en grupo dará soporte hasta a ocho jugadores en PlayStation 4, como en PS Vita”, dijo. Pero además los usuarios de la PS4 podrán incluso chatear con los de PS Vita.

Yesterday we posted the very first pictures of a packaged DualShock 4, and confirmed that at least some GameStop/EB Games shops in Canada are already selling the controller to their customers before the official release of the PS4.

Today, the same Twitter user that posted the first picture (Sargon Aodisho) of the Dualshock 4 controllers did it again, this time with the first picture of a packaged PlayStation Camera, that you can see above. The fact that the item hails from Canada is again demonstrated by the bilingual wording “For/Pour PS4″ on the bottom right.

This time around, though, it’s unlikely that we’ll see the camera used on PC or PS3. While the connector uses USB 3.0 technology, the shape is proprietary and different from a normal USB connector.

That said, if you live in Canada and want a rather pricey paperweight (at least until the release of the console), or you think you’re crafty enough to modify that connector to make it work (I would not advise it, but hey, it’s your money), you can try and call your local GameStop/EB Games store and see if you can get your hands on one.

As a partly related bonus, below you can see the rather fetching PS4 setup at a Canadian Futureshop store, tweeted by the retail chain’s official account itself. Can you feel that next gen vibe?

Check Out a Video of a PS4′s DualShock 4 Used to play Battlefield 3 on PS3: it Definitely Seems to Work Well

Now that the DualShock 4 is out in the wild, at least in Canada, someone already hooked it up to his PS3 and tried to play some games.

While we already knew that it was possible, thanks to this video by ComputerBild, the demonstration was a tad awkward, and the game “played” wasn’t that complex. What about something a bit more interesting, like Battlefield 3?

Below you can see a video by YouTube user Bayar Brindar giving us a glimpse on the PS3 version of Battlefield 3 played with his brand new DualShock 4.

It definitely seems to work very well as soon as the user starts to actually trying to shoot people.

Parece que el cambio de Batería será bastante sencillo es accesible desde un primer momento al quitar los 4 tornillos y separar el mando en 2. Lo único que habría que tener mucho cuidado es con el cable plano y sus pestañas para no forzarlas o romperl el propio cable al separar ambas partes

En mi caso el mando estaba ya roto y la verdad es que lo abrí mezcla curiosidad y mezcla esperanza de que tocando algo en plan moisés con su bastón abriendo las aguas, al cerrar todo funcionara de nuevo

Obviamente no...fue a un cajón por mi síndrome de diógenes, pensando que tendría recambios para otro mando y a los meses a la basura, porque tenía claro, que si volvía a abrir otro, se me iba a romper igual.

Parece ser que algunas tiendas de USA y Canadá ya venden los Dualshock 4...

PlayStation 4 controllers arriving at retail

Reddit users posts picture of DualShock 4 in the wild at an EB Games outlet in Canada ahead of PS4 launch next month.



The PlayStation 4 does not arrive until next month, but controllers for the system are already showing up at retailers. A Reddit user (via Polygon) posted an image of DualShock 4 units on display at an EB Games outlet in Canada.

It is not clear if the controllers are available to purchase. The EB Games website has DualShock 4 controllers available to preorder for $60, though they are not available for purchase at the moment.

Earlier this week, Sony explained how it arrived at the final version of the DualShock 4 players will get their hands on with the PS4 next month.

Product planning manager Toshimasa Aoki said Sony considered "drastically changing" the controller from previous DualShock designs and even experimented with a touchscreen for the input.

Sony also created DualShock prototypes with the analog sticks placed in a similar way to the Xbox 360 controller. Aoki said Sony received feedback saying players wanted this control setup, especially for shooters. However, that stick placement "just wouldn't work" because it would break players' muscle memory, Aoki said.

The PS4 launches in North America on November 15 and in Europe on November 29.

Es de suponer que tras el periodo de 6 meses el contenido salga en otras plataformas, aunque no tiene porque ser asi, dado que Ubisoft no siempre ha porteado los DLCs exclusivos temporales.

En Assassins Creed este DLC proporcionara unos 60 minutos extras.

Assassins Creed 4 sale en casi todas las paltaformas habidas y por haber este 29 de Octubre, y Watch Dogs ha sido retrasado hasta 2014 con un tentativo Primavera, osease que hasta el 20 de Junio tienen tiempo.

PS4 300MB day one update adds Vita remote play and gameplay sharing

Sony will release a day one PlayStation 4 system update that adds two important features.
The update version 1.50, which weighs in at 300MB and, Sony estimates, will take about 5-15 minutes to download with a broadband speed of 5~10Mpbs, will be released alongside the PS4 in North America on 15th November. It adds remote play with the Vita and gameplay sharing via the Share button on the DualShock 4 controller.



Sony confirmed that some features will not be available at launch, such as "suspend/resume mode", which is a feature that keeps the PS4 system in a low power state and promptly takes users back to their game. Sony said it will provide more information on this in the near future.

Sony listed the features that will be available at the launch of the PS4. They are republished below.

• Remote Play: Users will be able to access PS4 titles displayed on their living room TVs and play them on a PS Vita system over Wi-Fi networks by using PS4 Link. SCE anticipates that most PS4 titles will be playable on the PS Vita system through Remote Play. (Remote Play will not be enabled on all games, including those that require peripherals such as PlayStation Camera or certain third party peripherals.)
• Second Screen: Users can use the PS4 Link application for the PS Vita system, and PlayStation App for iPhone, iPad, and Android based smartphones and tablets, to use these devices as second screens in supported titles. PlayStation App has the ability to enable users to interact with games with their mobiles devices. For example on The Playroom, a title pre-installed in all PS4 systems that requires PlayStation Camera, users can draw pictures on their mobile device screens and flick them towards the TV. The images then appear as a 3D object within the game.
• Record, take screen shots, and upload gameplay effortlessly: The PS4 system provides dedicated, "always on" video encoding systems that enables seamless uploading of gameplay. Users can share their epic triumphs by simply hitting the "SHARE button" on PS4 Wireless Controller (DUALSHOCK4), take screenshots or scan through the last 15 minutes of gameplay, tag it and return to the game - the video uploads as the user plays. At the PS4 system's launch in North America, users will be able to share their images and videos with friends on Facebook and screenshots with followers on Twitter.
• Broadcast and spectate gameplay: The PS4 system also enhances social spectating by enabling users to broadcast their gameplay in real-time to game fans around the globe, using Ustream and Twitch live internet streaming services. SCE provides two ways for users to view live broadcasts. First, the Live from PlayStation application on PS4 aggregates streams from all PlayStation users. Second, users can spectate friends' PS4 gameplay from PCs, and applications such as Ustream, Twitch, and browsers, which are installed on their mobile devices. These applications can be easily started up via PlayStation App, and users can also use these applications to post comments to gameplay broadcasts. Furthermore, users with PlayStation Camera can stream camera images and microphone sounds along with their live gameplay broadcast.
• Play as you download: This feature enables users to play supported digital titles as they are being downloaded. When a game is purchased, users can start playing after PS4 downloads a portion of the data, while the rest of the game is downloaded in the background during actual gameplay. Games may be downloaded in stand-by mode.
• Multi log-in: A maximum of four users can log-in to a single PS4 system simultaneously. These players can use their own save data to play games, and also earn trophies on their own Sony Entertainment Network accounts even when playing a multi-player game together on a single PS4 system.
• Party (Voice chat): By using the Mono Headset bundled with the PS4 system, users will be able to chat with up to eight friends enjoying different applications or games. Furthermore, users can use Party to chat between PS4 and PS Vita systems.
• Face recognition and voice commands: Users with PlayStation Camera will be able to register their facial image onto their PS4 system, and login to their system using facial recognition instead of DUALSHOCK4. Furthermore, users can use either the microphone of the Mono Head set connected to DUALSHOCK4, or PlayStation Camera to navigate through the PS4 home screen (PlayStation Dynamic Menu) with voice commands to start up games and shutdown the system, among other features.
• Background music player: Users can enjoy gameplay while listening to music in the background with Music Unlimited, a cloud-based digital music service. Users can also voice chat with friends while listening to music.
• Online Multiplayer: PlayStation Plus (PS Plus) members will be able to play PS4 titles online with other players via the network. PS Plus makes it easy for members to join available online multiplayer matches in a variety of ways, including the ability to easily join a game from a live stream broadcast or Party voice chats.
• Blu-ray Disc and DVD player: Users can enjoy not only gaming on their PS4 system, but also Blu-ray and DVD video contents (at first time use, users must connect to the internet to activate this feature).

Meanwhile, Sony announced it will release the free to download PlayStation App on 13th November in North America and 22nd November in Europe.

The app, which will be available from the App Store and Google Play, lets you use smartphones and tablets as second screens in supported PS4 games. You can also use it to access PlayStation Network features such as Friend Lists and Trophies.

You'll also be able to exchange messages with those on your Friends List and browse news and information on the official PlayStation website.

En ella podemos ver tanto el color, fecha de lanzamiento, precios, memoria, potencia, etc.

Ya falta menos para que podamos tenerla en nuestras manos.

Sony aclara cómo podremos compartir nuestros juegos en nuestra PS4

Los usuarios de la misma tendrán libre acceso a ellos.

Sony América ha publicado una serie de preguntas y respuestas sobre PlayStation 4, centradas en resolver algunas de las dudas que puedan surgir sobre cómo compartir nuestros juegos con los usuarios de nuestra PlayStation 4, así como cómo acceder a ellos desde otra consola. En principio, esta información se aplica sólo a juegos digitales.

Así, los juegos que adquiramos, así como las ventajas de pertenecer a PlayStation Plus, estarán disponibles para cualquier otro usuario de nuestra PlayStation 4, la cual tendremos que activar como sistema principal de nuestra cuenta. No será necesario que iniciemos sesión para permitir el acceso a nuestros contenidos para los otros usuarios.

Aparte podremos descargar cualquiera de nuestros juegos comprados en cualquier otra consola, tal y como hacemos hoy en día con PlayStation 3, iniciando sesión en la máquina ajena. Se nos notifica que "podemos usar dos sistemas de manera simultánea", el activado como principal y otro más, aunque no se detalla a qué se refieren con "usar", y si se limitará el acceso a nuestros contenidos de alguna manera.

De todas formas no creo que el que quiera una tenga que esperar mucho, no hay un catálogo potable en ninguno de los dos lanzamientos, como suele ocurrir.

Here’s The First Unboxing Video of a PS4 Retail Game, Starring Knack, and a Comparison with PS3 Cases



With Knack‘s retail copies already in the hands of many in Canada, it was inevitable to see unboxing videos pop up, showing what’s inside the coveted blue case. After all, pulling it out of the box it is pretty much all you can do with the game for now.

YouTube user Lewis Williamson did exactly that, also letting us know that there’s no manual inside the case and giving us a glimpse on what a PS4 disc looks like.

He finally goes on to compare the case with that of a PS3 game, showing that they’re exactly the same size, which is good for displaying our collections in an orderly fashion.

LAs reservas de ps4 estan agotadas para el día del lanzamiento desde hace mucho, las de xbox one todavía estan disponibles. Esto dice bastante de hacia donde se decanta el mercado hasta que se igualen precios.
De todas formas no creo que el que quiera una tenga que esperar mucho, no hay un catálogo potable en ninguno de los dos lanzamientos, como suele ocurrir.

Sí, pero luego van y sacan packs. Si no hay stock, pues no hay stock, no se sacan packs. Creo que va a vender mucho más que one, pero también creo que hay mucho de la vieja técnica de "me lo quitan de las manos".
