Esta noche se celebran los Globos de Oro. Como uno ya está mayorcete como para quedarse a verlos de madrugada y no perecer en el trabajo mañana , haré un resumen de madrugada cuando me levante a currar.

Aquí van mis favoritos en el apartado de cine (y los que me gustaria que ganasen). Así de paso hago un pequeño resumen de mi opinión de la temporada de premios hasta ahora

MEJOR PELÍCULA (DRAMA):
“Oppenheimer”
“Killers of the Flower Moon”
“Maestro”

Quien me gustaría que ganase: The zone of Interest

Es difícil prever por donde irán los tiros este año, ya que la renovación (y ampliación) de los miembros que votan en los globos ha sido total, pero creo que en esta ocasión van a ir a lo seguro y Oppenheimer va a ser por fin la peli de Nolan que se lleve el gato al agua en cuestión de premios. “Killers” tiene también posibilidades, pero la que me gustaría (y que es imposible que salga), es la peli de Glazer…

Creo que la tentación de repetir el Barbenheimer en la temporada de premios va a ser muy fuerte, y estos premios son la ocasión ideal para ello. La segunda opción (que es mi preferida), sería la peli de Lanthimos; es una oportunidad de oro para ensalzar una de las propuestas más bizarras de la temporada.

No es que sea precisamente fan de Nolan, pero creo que si hay una película por la que puede y merece ser premiado es esta. No es perfecta en absoluto, pero es de los últimos directores-autores que siguen dentro de la industria, y creo que esta vez lo merece…. Sin embargo me parece que los votantes de los globos no van a perder la oportunidad de sacudirse las críticas de otros años con Gerwig. No es una peli que me entusiasme, pero el éxito rotundo la ha catapultado a una posición envidiable dentro de la industria, y este puede ser su trampolín para los Oscars.

Si en alguna ceremonia de premios Bradley Cooper tiene posibilidades de ganar, es en esta. El el tipo de interpretación “showie” que siempre ha molado en los Globos pero, una vez más, este año estamos en el inicio de algo distinto, así que todo es posible.

Difícil elección en esta categoría. Las dos opciones que doy tienen muchas posibilidades, pero me decanto por el protagonista de “los que se quedan”.

Hace falta decir a estas alturas quiénes son las favoritas de esta temporada a mejor actriz? Una de ellas es sin duda Gladstone. Tiene LA narrativa del año, y los votantes de los globos no van a perder la oportunidad de confirmarla. Mi favorita? Obviamente Hüller, es una de las actrices del año, y Anatomía de una caída lo confirma…

Si en drama esta Gladstone, en la categoría de comedia está la otra favorita indiscutible de la temporada: Emma Stone se ha revelado como una de las actrices más queridas por la critica, y su colaboración con Lanthimos es de las más fructíferas de los últimos años. En cuanto a la que me gustaría… hace falta decirlo? Portman hace quizás una de las tres mejores interpretaciones de su carrera (junto a Cisne negro y Jackie). Desgraciadamente, su candidatura ha ido perdiendo fuelle debido a la fuerte competencia en esta categoría. Dudo siquiera que vaya a ser nominada a los SAG o los Oscars. Cualquier otro año hubiera estado entre las favoritas…

Si antes hablaba de Portman en May December, nadie habría podido predecir tras el festival de Cannes que Charles Melton iba a ser la opción más factible, de cara a los premios, de la peli de Haynes. Una de esas curiosas dinámicas que cogen impulso durante la carrera al Óscar, y que aquí tiene su maximo exponente. Como segunda opción (y mi favorita), es la de Robert Downey, Jr por Oppenheimer. He leído por ahí que lo que hace Downey no es para tanto, pero es que, joder!, esta cojonudo en la peli.

Esta categoría es perfecta para premiar a una actriz relativamente desconocida que al final se convierte en todo un descubrimiento en la película en la que interviene, y Randolph es la opción perfecta para ello. Mi favorita para esta categoría seria Moore. Ella y Portman están fantásticas en May December, y es la segunda mejor opcion de premio para la peli tras Melton.

Aquí creo que Past Lives es la que mejor oportunidades tiene de conseguir premios. Es una de las revelaciones de la temporada y esta categoría y la de mejor actriz para Greta Lee son sus mejores opciones.
