Abro el melón, ¿Barbie para mejor película? No me parecería ninguna tontería eh, creo que hay vario elementos que la podrían colocar, al igual que Ryan Gosling como secundario (y esto no lo digo ni medio en broma, puede ser el papel de su vida ).

Yo diría que Barbie va a estar nominada a mejor película, aunque solo fuera por el taquillazo que se está viendo que va a ser.

Si la huelga de actores y guionistas se prolonga más allá de septiembre, preveo una temporada de premios completamente anómala. Todas las pelis que se hayan estrenado o presentado en festivales hasta ahora lo van a tener mucho mejor que otros años. El problema será qué tipo de promoción podrán hacer las distribuidoras con las pelis “Oscarizables”. Las que tengan un director reconocido pueden basar la promoción en ello (un Nolan, un Scorsese, un Haynes… incluso Gerwig en calidad de realizadora), pero la carrera de los actores pude ser una pesadilla de marketing.

Pase lo que pase, creo que Telluride, Venecia y Toronto están ya tocados y lo tienen muy jodido … ojalá todo esto se resuelva para finales de septiembre como muy tarde, porque sino va a ser echarse piedras para su propio tejado, y no me refiero solo a los estudios, sino a los propios actores.

Aún es pronto para empezar a hablar de nominaciones y entregas de premios (en gran parte debido a la prolongación de la huelga de actores del SAG-AFTRA, que esta dejando en un limbo todas las fechas de la temporada), pero ya se han sabido las candidaturas de un par de asociaciones que suelen dar a conocer sus candidatos de manera temprana...

-Por un lado están los Gotham Awards, que dieron a conocer sus nominaciones el pasado 24 de octubre. Estos premios, hasta la pasada edición centrados en el cine independiente, han quitado de sus normas este año limitaciones de presupuestos en la subscrición de candidatos, por lo que pelis como "Barbie" de Warner han podido entrar a competición (hay que decir que muchas otras películas "de estudio" o gran presupuesto ni siquiera se han presentado a estos galardones, "Oppenheimer" de Universal o "Los asesinos de la Luna" de Apple, por ejemplo).
