Yo doy por segura su nominación. El pinchazo que supuso los Globos de oro, no lo es tal porque fue nominada a película extranjera, además que la prensa extranjera de Hollywood no tiene poder de decisión. El no apoyo a Penelope no es tal si hay apoyo a Madres Paralelas.
Aún queda por ver qué harán dos antesalas importantes, los SAG y los BAFTA. Hay sí sería decisivo.
El gran error muchos lo predijimos y no estamos fallando en nada, que fue por parte de la academia española en mandar El buen patrón. Que sí, ha pasado el corte de las 15 pero ahí se va a quedar. Es la última favorita en todas las listas de pronósticos de vaticinios.
Madres paralelas habría podido llegar más fácilmente a las 5. Ahora espero que ese no apoyo a la cinta como película internacional se traduzca en apoyo a Penelope.
No hay apoyo a nuestros artistas españoles más internacionales, ¿o solo yo doy apoyo?

Yo hablo por mí, y creo que por Tripley, conociéndolo un poquito, que claro que apoyamos a los artistas nuestros. Para mí es un orgullo, como español, que uno de los nuestros consiga hacerse un hueco en ese mundillo de los premios que tanto me ha gustado desde casi niño.

Sí, estoy de acuerdo contigo pero veo que somos muy poquitos quienes manifestamos el apoyo y orgullo porque nuestros artistas lleguen a lo más alto copando premios y nominaciones.
También digo que hay mejores artistas españoles, almenos actores, que Bardem y Cruz, pero hoy por hoy quienes mejores que tenemos para representarnos y llevarse la nominación son ellos.
En cuanto Almodóvar habría que mandarlo a los Oscar siempre y cuando tuviera una buena opción, cosa que no sucede por eso de dar visibilidad a otros directores y películas, y darles por contra una ventana de publicidad extra. Con los amantes pasajeros, obviamente no era una opción de Oscar, pero muchas como La piel que habito, La mala educación, Hable con ella y Madres Paralelas sí lo ha sido y se le ha negado, absurda y torpemente, esa oportunidad.
Por cierto, este auge de nominaciones de Penelope para con el círculo de críticos norteamericanos coincide con el estreno en EEUU de la película, lo cual viene a decir también que fuera está mejor considerada y está teniendo más éxito que en España. Antes del estreno su nombre no sonaba en las nominaciones. No hay que preocuparse de las veces que no ha sido nominada. Por esto considero que es un valor seguro de llevarse la nominación, sería la cuarta en su carrera.

Dejando a un lado el tema Onmicron y tal, los Globos de Oro no les importa ya a nadie, y menos a Hollywood. ¿O pensáis que después de la que cayó hace un par de años iba a ir alguien a recoger estos premios? Anda que se han publicitado mucho las pelis candidatas con sus nominaciones, cuando antes no tardaban ni un minuto en poner bien grande las candidaturas o premios que conseguían.
Bueno, y lo de las asociaciones de críticos, qué queréis que os diga. Otra excusa para aparentar que somos algo en la vida y quedar para cenar y tomar copas (y ver pelis gratis y tal).
En fin, cada vez me da más pereza todo esto de los premios y demás. Pero vamos, que entre todos la mataron, y ella sóla se murió, como se suele decir.
Me alegro del triunfo de Kidman, ha sido toda una sorpresa. Los globos de oro no son un indicativo de ganar un Oscar, cierto, pero sí al menos de ganarse la nominación. Kidman ha estado en duda y con este triunfo da un golpe sobre la mesa para dar por segura su nominación al Oscar. El año pasado ganó el GG por la misma categoría Andra Day quien hasta el último momento su nominación al Oscar estaba en duda en una quinta plaza muy concurrida entre varias contendientes.
Aunque ha supuesto una sorpresa en su historial de GG acumula 16 nominaciones con 5 triunfos - Todo por un sueño, Moulin Rouge, Las Horas, Big Little Lies y Being The Ricardos. Se puede decir que es amada por la prensa extranjera y todos sus proyectos mínimamente dignos de premio se lo ha llevado. El resto de nominaciones son banales, algunos incluso muy discutibles.
Y ya por último este triunfo de Kidman supone un pinchazo para Stewart. De momento va muy encaminada a una trayectoria similar a la de Natalie Portman con Jackie, también de Larrain.
Aprovecho para reivindicar una edición en física de la película The united states vs Billie Holliday, únicamente editada en Alemania, Francia y países nórdicos.
