Sí, se ha comentado en redes la ausencia de Cooper. Pero en cualquier caso, también se ha comentado que Eighth grade, siendo la obra de un novel, debía haber tenido bastante presencia en los Oscar. Y ha sido ninguneada por la Academia.

Cuando se hablaba de películas y su merecimiento en este hilo, yo creo que falta mucha más presencia de First reformed, de Eighth grade o de Leave no trace. Este año no han apostado tanto por el cine indie como el año pasado, siendo el nivel muy bueno.

Tien su lógica, pero en cualquier caso, me alegro todo lo que reciba Eighth grade. Como digo, es una de esas que debía haber llegado a los Oscar y se ha quedado por el camino. al menos, se lleva un premio importante para un director a seguir.

Could you ever forgive me, es bastante mala. Prometía ironía, cultura, inteligencia, comicidad y agilidad al leer la sinopsis, pero no, sólo hay aburrimiento, torpeza narrativa, una gorda antipática, un amigo gay, y una gata.
Lo mejor del film es el felino.

BAFTA considers the alleged behaviour completely unacceptable and incompatible with its values. This has led to Mr Singer’s suspended nomination. BAFTA notes Mr Singer’s denial of the allegations. The suspension of his nomination will therefore remain in place until the outcome of the allegations has been resolved. BAFTA believes everyone has the right to a fulfilling career in a safe, professional working environment, and it will continue to collaborate with the film, games and television industries to achieve this
