Ya sabemos que cuando los gremios empiecen a hablar, la cosa se pondrá seria. Pero hasta ahora, sí es bastante curioso cuánto ha gustado entre la crítica pelis "pequeñas" como Moonlight, Manchester by the sea, o Hell or high water. Además de otras que tampoco son "hechas a la medida" de los premios. O sea, fabricadas expresamente para ganar. Hablo de Elle o de The handmaiden.
Habrá que ver si finalmente, optan a lo más gordo (que parece que sí) o solo tendrán presencia en guión y alguna actuación.
De cualquier forma, las que nos pueden parecer propuestas más "glamourosas", como La la land o Jackie, son pelis con presupuesto pequeño o mediano (30 y 9 millones,respectivamente).

En cualquier caso, me parece saludable que las buenas ideas se plasmen en películas que resulten finalmente reconocidas en su medida. Otra cosa distinta será cuando veamos anunciada "la escasa" recaudación en taquilla americana de las pelis nominadas, como está pasando en los últimos tiempos.

Dejo por aquí el pedazo de vídeo-resumen que se marca el tal Ben Zuk todos estos últimos años (el del 2015 lo habré visto mil veces ). Espectacular, como siempre :
