Ya se que aun no ha salido a la venta (aunque sale pronto, el 31 Octubre), pero como tambien se hacen posts de aparatos antes de salir, pues abro este post, ya que el parato merece toda la atención. Mas que nada , porque es una revolución. Almenos a mi humilde parecer.

Por ultimo lo que yo destaco (sobretodo lo demas):
-Sistema TORRENT integrado (un megalujazo)
-Precio extraordinario 179$ (sin discoduro IDE).
-Capaz de leer por USB todos los USB Storage, los USB DVD, y en proximo frimware los USB DVD.
-Su atonomia de PC, ya que tiene ethernet.
-Su capacidad de escalar a 1080p.
-Su capacidad de reproducir todos los formatos de video en HD (no asi los de audio en HD au, supongo que cuando salgan, y con nuevo frimwares).
-Su senzillez de manejo, al ser un aparato "ultratodoenuno".
-Te "regalan" el cable HDMI (obiamente tiene salida HDMI).
-El streaming de video.
-Destaco tambien que no lleve ya incorporado un lector de dvd o blue-ray (aunque es mas relativo, porque mejor que lo soporte por USB 2.0).
-Destaco negativamente que no tenga hdmi 1.3

Para mi opinion, junto con el nuevo cacharro de Blue:sense (con blu-ray), el regalo de estas navidades ideal. AVANT

No esperare. De hecho, tengo el flamante plasma de 42" Hitachi con "rara" resolucion de 1024x1080, y tengo que provar a fondo esos 1080 comoovan, asi que me interessa mucho tirar mkv por el hdmi. Jeje. Nadie mas se apunta de conejillo de indias? AVANT

Como dije en el hilo dedicado al Tvix 5100 pienso comprarlo tan pronto salga a la venta.
Solo me falta pillarme un mkv de 1080p y gran bitrate para hacer pruebas con el.

Pues hoy mismo me he enterado de este cacharrito y ahora venia a contarlo pero se me han adelantado... La verdad es que tiene muy muy buena pinta y sale a un precio muy bueno para ser verdad... Creo que sale a finales de este mes no? osea ya no? se puede comprar en algun sitio ya? lo ideal seria que alguien lo probara y comentara a ver que tal... aunque creo que hicieron una review en no se que web y quedaron satisfechos. En este foro teneis mas info y el enlace a la web que hace el review. Creo que iban a sacar mas modelos y mas adelante tambien se le podrian añadir perifericos (genial por si mas adelante le añades un lector BD o HD-DVD)
Yo es que queria sacarle partido a mi nueva tele full hd yme iba a montar un htpc pero es que esto sale mas barato y todo en uno sin jaleos...

alguien me puede decir lo que tengo que hacer para ver el contenido del disco duro que le he puesto al Popcorn a100, conectandolo con cable usb.
o de que forma puedo ver este disco para pasar pelis del pc al popcorn?

Pues por mi parte y como no hagan algo en el proximo firm, lo vendo.Estoy hasta los "huevs" de no poder ver ninguna pelicula en 1080p en condiciones(muy poquitas se salvan).Estoy hablando de peliculas en 1080p y con profile 4.1, de vez en cuando se le va la pinza al cacharro y la verdad que es un poco cansino.
Mi ultima prueba sera a traves de red, aunque no lo compre para usarlo por red, en fin.....

igual es por el ultimo firm...pues da bastantes problemas...bajate el tercero empezando por arriba...yo todas las pelis las tengo a 1080p y perfecto...

en la pagina oficial del palomitas tienes los firms.....te descargas el tercero empezando por arriba([url]http://www.popcornhour.com/download/firmware_update.html) lo descargas a un pendrive o a un disco duro...y desde el menu en donde sale las fotos de peli..musica...etc....entras en el ultimo que parece una hoja con letras, buscas en tu disco duro duro el firm...pinchas en el y ok.....va bastante mejor que la ultima...bueno a mi en 1080p me va perfecto todas las pelis incluso mt2..vc1..etc....

alguien conoce o tiene algun firmware alternativo o mod? El original me sabe a poco. Aun asi sigo satisfecho con el producto teniendo en cuenta que era un beta.

Parece que se van ha poder ver los BD en formato ISO, o eso ye he interpretado.

Hola a todos y gracias por permitirme escribir en este foro,

estoy por comprarme un NMT Kaiboer y tengo un televisor de plasma no es conveniente dejar las bandas negras arriba y abajo de la imagen cuando la misma no completa la pantalla por lo que si alguien tuviera a bien de contestarme si cuando configuras la salida por Hdmi a 720 el NMT se encarga de hacer el zoom o ampliar la imagen para completar los 720 o por el contrario si la pelicula es un divx normal deja que el zoom lo haga la television y se ven las bandas en el televisor?

Yo he probado con uno que yo tenia y no ha hecho falta formatearlo.

Hola Amigos:
He adquirido hace unos dias un palomitas A200 y lo lee todo, practicamente, estoy muy contento con el pero en lo que respecta a la conecsion wifi, imposible, se que soy un negao con las redes pero en casa los otros ordenadores los tengo por wifi y comparto sin problemas, pero el palomitas, no hay manera, le he instalado un segate 1 TB formateado como lo hace el, y instalado el sofware ultimo, y nada. He formateado el disco en NTSF y tampoco, el caso es que el palomitas me dice que tengo conecsion wifi un 72/100 en los dos formateos distintos, pero no hay manera de que mi red lo detecte ni tampoco de que entre en internet, me ha parecido leer por hay que el dispositivo wifi tiene que ser el del fabricante por que sino no, no funciona, el caso es que lo compre por internet y me mandaron un wifi O2-WL6203 que creo que es popcorn, no se si es posible que sea eso, algun entendido en la materia que me heche una manita para no tener que estar desconectando el palomitas cada vez que cargo algo, porfi.
