Ojo que parece que lo de "Machete Kills" y "Machete kills again" no iba en broma

Before "Machete" hit theaters, director Robert Rodriguez said that he would love to also make "Machete Kills" and "Machete Kills Again." He then joked that he would love to end the franchise with "Machete in Space."

Now comes word from Danny Trejo that Rodriguez is very serious about developing a sequel. "I asked him when he was going to write it and he says it's written," the actor explained. "So we can get started pretty quick."

"Machete" cost $10 million to make and grossed a very unimpressive $36 million in worldwide ticket sales. When you factor in marketing costs, the movie probably barely broke even.
