Hace unos días envié el siguiente e-mail al departamento de soporte de Spectracal:
Greetings from Spain,
I am the owner of a JVC X7000. As you probably know, this projector
doesn't reproduce HDR blurays correctly. I have been investigating the
funcionality of spectracal calman to calibrate JVC projectors in order
to reproduce this kind of blurays in a acceptable way. It seems that
some of your products supply workflows to do this in a automatic way. In
this sense, I have some questions about this:
1. What are the calman versions/products that supply the workflow
to calibrate HDR10? I'm not a professional and I don't want spend
too much money.
2. Is X-rite i1Display Pro enough accurate to do this kind of
calibration.
3. Do these workflows calibrate the projector in automatic way?
4. Is the result of the calibration directly sent to the JVC X7000
and are the internal controls of the projector modified?
I would appreciate if you answer these questions.
Thanks in advance
Regards
Y hoy me han sorprendido con la siguiente respuesta:
Most of the guys that I know that have the 2016 JVC projectors are calibrating to SDR BT.2020 and using the Panasonic UHD player to do the HDR-SDR mapping.
There isn’t a standard for HDR Projector calibration.
