A few months back, THR had reported that Eastwood “wanted to find one last project in order to be able to ride off into the sunset with his head held high.” He found the script for “Juror No. 2” and said this is “the one”. This will probably be the narrative used by Warner Bros. during awards season: “Clint’s final film”.
“Juror No. 2” stars Toni Collette, Nicholas Hoult, Kiefer Sutherland, J.K. Simmons, Zoey Deutch and Chris Messina. The film is “set during a murder trial where one of the jurors slowly realizes he might have killed the victim in a reckless-driving accident and tries to save the defendant without incriminating himself.”
The latest update on the film is that it just wrapped post-production and is ready to go.

¿Es el peso de la culpa suficiente castigo? Si esta es la última película de Clint Eastwood (93 años) se despide por la puerta grande. Un aparente drama judicial clásico que en realidad no lo es tanto, que encierra una historia en la que la ambigüedad moral planea sobre todos sus protagonistas, unos personajes llenos de grises, dejando en el espectador muchas preguntas y un poso que se lleva a casa, prestándose al debate y a multitud de lecturas, incluida una crítica velada al sistema judicial.

Me ha gustado mucho. Poquitos elementos pero muy bien jugados. El Eastwood nonagenario es mejor director que la mayoría en plenitud de capacidades.
I'd imagine the whole world was one big machine. Machines never come with any extra parts, you know. They always come with the exact amount they need. So I figured, if the entire world was one big machine, I couldn't be an extra part. I had to be here for some reason.(HUGO)
