Yo de momento sólo he visto dos capítulos y he de decir que me ha enganchado como hace tiempo no hacía ninguna serie, y hablo de hace mucho, mucho (Expediente X, por ejemplo)... La recomiendo en general, pero especialmente a aquellos a los que os gustó Super 8

Stranger Things, para mí, huele a Amblin/Spi por los cuatro costados. Muy recomendable, ciertamente.
Ya que estamos, recomiendo encarecidamente Doctor Foster serie de la BBC, que trata sobre una mujer que descubre que su marido le es infiel y decide vengarse de manera progresiva, cruel y planificada.
5 episodios de 60 minutos de duración. Se está preparando la segunda temporada. Interpretación descomunal de su protagonista, Suranne Jones.

Pues esa no es MIK, aunque también es verdad que la película es una comedia (con toques criminales) y más o menos es de misma época (ésta tres años anterior a la película de Goodman)¿Puede ser Rafi, un rey de peso, de James Newton Howard?

En mi opinión, una de las mejores pelis con el síndrome "buddy movie" que hay. Siempre que veo que la echan por TV me quedo a verla acabar. Aquí no está De Niro en piloto automático como en otras propuestas fílmicas ligeras que acontecieron tras "Ronin" y "Una terapia peligrosa". Grodin, con esa especie de timidez autista que le aqueja, engancha al espectador por su bonhomía. Y la presencia de ese gran secundario que es John Ashton ("Superdetective en hollywood"), o de Pantoliano o Dennis Farina, tipos duros con capacidad para reírse de sí mismos, destila mucha espontaneidad y muy buena química. Casi no se puede decir nada mejor de una película de este tipo.Me dicen por aquí que aquí se tituló fuga a medianoche.

La verdad es que está francamente bien, sobretodo teniendo en cuenta el nivel medio de este tipo de películas. Y cómo bien dices, Robert de Niro está tan entregado cómo de costumbre (no hemos llegado todavía al año 2000), lo que la hace subir varios enteros.

Pista: basada en una historia real, la película transcurre principalemente en dos ciudades con climas totalmente opuestos. Compositor de bastante nombre...
