En un principio había pensado en alguna colaboración Nyman-Greenaway, pero repasando títulos, no doy con ella....
es que no es una conexión Nyman-Greenaway, es del director con otro compositor.

Por cierto, la última pista, más que pista es una "pistaza", que, aunque es verdad que tiene cierto toque proselitista hacía el cine de Greenaway, al "obligar" a leer el comentario, también es cierto que en el mismo se cita textualmente al compositor.

Pues fue este verano, un concierto en el Circo Price:

El grueso del concierto fue la presentación de su último disco Charktersketch, pero luego se hicieron varios bises donde tocó temás más clásicos (que fueron muy bien recibidos por un sector de la grada que parecía muy seguidor del músico). La interpretación a mí me pareció muy buena y la sensación de Mertens como músico, también.
Unas dos semanas antes vimos a Michael Nyman en un concierto, tambioén de su último trabajo, War work, y el concierto no me provocó esa sensación de cercanía, además, no hubo ni un bis, se interpretó el disco y ya está.

Nadie, ¿de verdad?.
Soy un pesado, lo sé, pero tal vez sea debido a mi naturaleza bondadosa, sensible y romántica que nunca me canso de sus composiciones. Nadie cómo el para ilustrar precisamente eso ,la sensibilidad, la melancolía, la tristeza, el lirismo y el romanticismo musicalmente hablando. (MIK dijo que en este apartado en concreto para el tenía un lugar junto a los más grandes de todos los tiempos ).
Es tal la almagama de emociones que me hacen sentir sus partituras... un poco cómo el cine de su director fetiche. Intensidad emocional desbordante, pero sincera y siempre acorde con lo narrado. En concreto la obra a la que pertenece este tema siempre me hace llorar pese a que es más recordada por su antológico tour de force de acción de 10 minutos de duración, con unas imaginativas orquestaciones, dicho sea de paso.

MIK, esta es muy tuya, te vas a flagelar por no haberla adivinado a la primera. No, no es Thor. Única (pero inmensamente valorada) colaboración del escocés con uno de tus directores predilectos, en una de sus mejores películas. Pura poesía, como indica Akakievich, adjetivo que valdría tanto para la composición cómo para el film.
