Me sorprende (relativamente) la salida de películas mediocres o no excesivamente exitosas, cuando podían salir películas mucho más esperadas y renombradas... pero claro, ya digo que me sorprende relativamente, pensándolo bien, cada vez que ha salido un nuevo formato, nos han colado inicialmente todo un batallón de películas menores y fracasos, y es que es una manera inmejorable de darles nueva vida y amortizar sus previos fiascos en cine (y previos formatos físicos).
Que se dejen de medianías y editen películas esperadas, conyo!

Desde hace unos días estoy pensando qué hacer con el nuevo formato. O mejor dicho, con mi colección, porque con todo esto del 4k no sé qué hacer.
Como sabréis si frecuentáis el post de Apple TV, el streaming me parece una buena iddea y me llama la atención. De hecho he empezado a comprar algunos títulos en oferta como Arrival, Boyhood o Inception.
Pero aún así, me pregunto qué pasa(rá) con otras tantas películas que quiero comprar pero que no estoy seguro de si alguna vez verán la luz en 4k.
En resumen, cuáles son las posibilidades de que se lleguen a editar en 4k películas
“Indies”: A Ghost Story, Enemy, Nocturnal Animals, The Witch, Mommy, Paterson, Green Room, Call me By your Name, etc
Europeas: Elle, Amour, Leviatán, Personal Shopper
Asiáticas: La Doncella o El Extraño
Grandes directores: Silencio, Pozos de Ambición, Badlands o Days of Heaven
Entiendo que el último grupo es el más factible, pero y los demás? Y otra pregunta, le valdrá la pena a las editoras reeditar películas como A Ghost Story cuando se planteen si sacarla en 4k?
Bueno, como véis estoy hecho un lío. Todo esto viene porque el otro día estuve pensando si cogerme Elle o Green Room pero me surgió la duda de si este tipo de películas verá una reedición algún día. Mi segunda pregunta, por supuesto, fue "realmente necesito ver esta película en 4k"??
Te entiendo, yo también me hago la misma pregunta, sobre todo porque ya hemos comprobado en los más de 10 años de vida que lleva el Blu-Ray, la cantidad enorme de películas que todavía faltan por salir en ese formato (y que sí salieron en DVD) así que en UHD saldrán todavía menos, y vistos los lanzamientos que llevamos vistos en los dos años de vida que lleva el UHD, la cosa está así:
-blockbusters actuales
-blockbusters de catálogo
-clásicos famosos del cine (aniversarios, etc)
de momento no está saliendo nada que se salga de ahí, o apenas nada, ni creo que lo veamos salvo excepciones concretas que confirmen la regla, ya sea por algún aniversario, ya sea porque tenga mucho "faneo" generacional detrás, ya sea por lo que sea...
Dicho de otras palabras: no esperes renovar tu colección en el nuevo formato, habrá películas que querrás tener, si, pero para la mayoría te conformarás con el BD, sobre todo porque muchas de las películas de tu colección no existirán en UHD, quizás sí existan en digital en plataformas de streaming y descarga "en la nube" pero ahí acabará todo.
Soy francamente pesimista con el formato doméstico, lo sé. pero es que la cosa pinta mal.
Yo no tengo equipo 4K, ni planes de tenerlo a corto-medio plazo (quiero exprimir un poco más mi equipo FHD 3D), aun así voy adquiriendo películas UHD 4K pero porque van acompañadas de su disco BD, si no, no compraría ninguna. No me fío un pelo de que este formato triunfe.
pues yo al reves mas optimista que nunca, ahora mismo no cabe duda que el televisor 4k es uno de los productos de electronica mas vendido y mas en la guerra de precios actual. Ahora lo que si tengo dudas es en que vencera el formato fisico o el streaming? o conviviran los dos? seguiran como hasta ahora el combo bluray+4k o empezaran a venir discos solos? ... Todavia recuerdo cuando empezo el bluray, se decia lo mismo que este formato no sobreviviría y ojo ahora mismo es cuando lleva unos añitos asentado, no pensemos que el bluray lleva siglos en puntas de venta. Yo creo que el 4k es justo ahora cuando esta despegando, pero para asentarse todavia le queda. Es obvio que el 4k será con el tiempo el formato del mercado pero como será fisico o streaming¿? esa pregunta ahora mismo es complicadaCita:

A veces dudo que GOT salga en 4k pero guardo mis esperanzas, afortunadamente un amigo me presta los BD, sería una pasada verla en 4k en algún momento.

Respecto de Juego de Tronos en UHD... me da que tiene muchas posibilidades, piensa que es una serie superventas total, todo el mundo la colecciona y fijo que con el añadido de poder disfrutarla en la mejor de las calidades posibles, la gente picará y se hará con ella en 4k, asi que ya verás como la terminan editando, acuérdate de lo que te digo mr.

There are unconfirmed reports that Warner is also working on The Polar Express, Gravity, and The Matrix. Additional titles I’ve personally seen 4K Ultra HD tests of (in private meetings at CES) include The Godfather and Lawrence of Arabia, but whether they’ve been fully mastered and authored for released yet is unconfirmed.
Pues sinceramente las pocas que me interesan de este 2018 son justamente las que no veremos por aquí con castellano, como no las de Disney, luego pues la segunda de Deadpool, la nueva de X-men que supongo que si las editara Fox por aquí, pero de lo demás casi no me interesa nada en UHD, quizás alguna en BD, cada día lo tengo mas claro, en un futuro solo Marvel/Disney sera la que me saque la pasta con los UHD, bueno y todo lo que luzca de escándalo en mis gustos personales.
Yo francamente tengo más esperanzas puestas en los títulos de catálogo (de hace 20, 30, 40 o 50 años...) que en los blockbusters actuales. si ahora mismo anuncian por ejemplo Dune en UHD 4K, me c**** de gusto :cuniao

En serio DUNE, no puedo con ella, cada vez que he intentado verla me he dormido, no se si por lenta o lo mala que me parece a mi, yo la verdad es que títulos que ya tengo me niego a volver a pagar, bueno si hablamos de una ScyFy seguro que caigo, la de La Jungla de Cristal Mmm, es una película especial para mi, fue la primera película que me compre en un Pryca en VHS, luego en DVD y hasta las latas en BD, pero ya no mas.Cita:

Tú eres de los míos,...... DUNE en ULTRA HD con un buen HDR tiene que ser una gozada ( puede que se lo piensen cuando Villeneuve se disponga a rodar la nueva versión, quien sabe ) a mí desde luego que el film del 84 de Lynch me parece cojonudo pero entiendo que esto va a gustos y que hay muchísima gente que no la soporta.Cita:

Pues yo si me sacan Los Goonies.... o una remasterización en condiciones de Gigante... aunque esta está jodida la cosa, el blu ray tenía fragmentos de calidad casi dvd (tengo el pack James Dean UK) y lo mismo le pasa (aunque menos) a Dr. Zhivago, no se si han tenido problemas con la conservación de algunos rollos o yo que sé.
Los Goonies sale seguro.
Ya por pedir yo diría una que volví a ver anoche, La teniente O´Neil, creo que tiene escenas a las que les vendría muy bien el UHD y HDR, sobretodo las nocturnas, diría que no se edito en BD, no? no lo recuerdo, yo la tengo en VHS aunque ayer la enganche en los canales del M+.
