Increíble noticia. Es dificilísimo entrar en la sección oficial y, encima, son dos las películas españolas que lo han conseguido. Desconozco si hay algún precedente.

En el caso de Laxe la noticia sorprende, pero menos, porque es habitual del festival. Lo de Simón llama especialmente la atención (teniendo en cuenta que es una magnífica directora), porque ni el reparto de su película ni el capital invertido tienen relación aparente con Francia.


También tenemos, por cierto, a Sorogoyen en el jurado.


Por lo demás, en la sección oficial aparecen varios cineastas cuya trayectoria está indisolublemente asociada con Cannes, como pasa siempre.

en 2009 Almodóvar y Coixet también estuvieron en la Sección oficial.

Lo de Simón puede sorprender, pero si pensamos que viene de Ganar el Oso de oro con su anterior película, tal vez se pueda pensar que Cannes la quiere atraer a su órbita, en la que efectivamente vemos este año a varios cineastas que ya son de la casa.
