The Hollywood Reporter has reached out to Spielberg for comment, but his rep Marvin Levy said the filmmaker could not be reached as he is currently shooting his latest project, The Papers. That film, coincidentally, stars Meryl Streep in a lead role

Y The BFG, la prota no deja de ser la niña, aunque se puede discutir si es co-protagonista, pero es su historia más que la del gigante, en mi opinión.

Pues en la misma situación se encontraría ET.

Personalmente, no suelo dar mucho valor a las producciones de los directores en general, ya que suelen primar más los intereses económicos que los artísticos; pero en cualquier caso, y aunque sólo sea por la dirección de "El color púrpura" como ya han apuntado, el berrinche queda totalmente desligitimado.

Habrá que apuntársela en su haber.

No ha sido el primero en confirmarlo, esto es vox populi hace ya mucho.
Pero vamos, que viendo la película ya cantaba la cosa. Es puro Spielberg.
