Como ya se ha hablado estos días, si bien el formato HRD10 es el proceso estandar para reproducir imágenes en HDR, Dolby está volviendo a atacar fuerte con su formato propio Dolby Vision de la misma manera que hizo lo propio con el Atmos para el sonido basado en objetos.
Ahora la empresa de la doble D ha llegado a negociaciones con Lionsgate, Warner y Universal para incorporar este procesado de imagen en los nuevos títulos que esas majors irán presentando en el futuro.
Estas negociaciones se añaden a la noticia de que Disney se suma al tren del UHD4K, algo que no había sucedido hasta ahora (y que causaba gran indignación entre los fans de sus películas) y en la posibilidad que, a parte de las características del UHD, Disney también incorpore el Dolby Vision en este formato de video.
