Hoy empieza por fin todo el cotarro, con la ceremonia de inauguración esta tarde/noche, y la presentación fuera de concurso de Café Society, la última película de Woody Allen. Aquí está la agenda del festival para los próximos días:

Vista la programación. Parece que, pese a tanto bueno, está todo muy bien planificado para que todos tengan su momento (de gloria...o no). Desde el lunes al sábado es un no parar de pelis en competición.

Esta mañana he escuchado algo que me ha llamado la atención en la radio. Que Julia Roberts, a la que se espera para la peli dirigida por Jodie Foster, es la primera vez que aparece por Cannes.

-Rester Vertical, de Alain Guiraudie.

El director galo nos propone esta vez la historia de una comunidad rural amenazada por el ataque de unos lobos contra las ovejas y las cabras de los agricultores. Léo (Damien Bonnard), buscando a uno de estos animales se encuentra en su camino a Marie, una pastora con la que al final tendrá un hijo. Cruda historia sobre la paternidad y clara metáfora del mundo actual, la peli ha escandalizado a cierto sector crítico por la crudeza de sus escenas de sexo. La recepción ha sido bastante mixta:
