Abro este hilo porque se anuncia su lanzamiento en blu ray en Italia (Creo que no hay ningún hilo abierto sobre esta película en blu ray)

En Amazon.es está en pre-venta la edición italiana que según la información trae español (supongo que castellano)



pd. Me encanta esta película, es más ayer estaba pensando que cuando la iban a editar el blu ray, y mira por donde hoy me encuentro esto. ))

Amigo Lucero, esta película sale en España el próximo 18 de julio. Anunciada en Fnac.es. Coincido contigo que es una auténtica delicia (visualmente es preciosa)

Para mi la mejor versión de Romeo y Julieta.Una maravilla...
Alguien q la haya pillado ya q nos pueda informar? A parte de la imagen,la pregunta del millón,q tal los subtitulos?

Vista entera anoche,la imagen es bastante buena aunque no mejora en exceso el DVD que ya de por sí se veía bastante bien.
Los subtítulos perfectos en todos los sentidos.
En cuanto al sonido,la maravillosa música de Nino Rota se oye estupendamente.

Jmga,estoy de acuerdo contigo,pero yo iría aún más lejos,a mi me parece la mejor adaptación de una obra de Shakespeare.

A mi también me parece una buenísima adaptación "purista" de una obra de Shakespeare. Pero también me parece muy bien que Shakespeare lo aguante casi todo y por ello también haya muchas adaptaciones no tan puristas, o casi casi iconoclastas, que también me parecen buenas películas. Saludos

Siendo asi,aprovecharemos un 3x2 para comprarla.
Y ya no me acordaba,esa música,maravilla total...Pero si q prefiero otras de Shakespeare,aunq esta está entre las primeras desde luego.

Hombre, no es una mejora brutal pero si que mejora sustancialmente, no creo que sea como para decir un DVD reescalado, ademas parece que en el DVD el formato era incorrecto y aparecía la gente demasiado estirada y en el BD lo han corregido.

Robert Harris parece dar la razón a los que se sienten decepcionados por este blu-ray:

"Good grain, good color, but a softness that either belies an older transfer or a poorly produced IP. Something is amiss, and the film deserves better."

Una pregunta a ver si es cosa de mi equipo o del propio Blu-ray...

¿En la V.O. los diálogos se escuchan únicamente (o por lo menos bastante más altos) por el canal derecho?

PD: Grandiosa película, por cierto.

Parece ser que Criterion lanzó una nueva edición en Blu-Ray restaurada en 4K desde el negativo original en Febrero de este mismo año que se ve y se escucha espectacularmente bien, superando con holgura a la anterior edición.



A ver si A Contracorriente nos la trae un día de estos.

"This new digital transfer was created in 4K resolution from the 35mm original Eastmancolor negative. The 35mm original separation masters were used to replace damaged sections. The original monaural soundtrack was remastered from the 35mm original soundtrack negative and a 35mm magnetic track.

I think that the new 4K makeover that was prepared for this classic film is magnificent. The visuals are frequently indescribably beautiful, so drawing directed comparisons with previous home video releases of the film seems utterly pointless. Depth, in particular, was so striking, I must speculate that in native 4K large sections of the film could easily be used as 'reference material'. Also, the darker footage boasts tremendous ranges of subtle nuances, so you should expect to see very diverse visuals throughout the entire film. I thought that the new 4K makeover is beautifully graded as well. This film has a very particular period appearance that emphasizes light yellows, browns, and blues and they have to be reproduced perfectly so that there are no distracting anomalies.

I did not encounter such anomalies. I thought that the party that graded the new 4K makeover was very careful to retain the proper values of the primaries and supporting nuances and ultimately the proper color temperature and stylistic appearance of the film. There are no traces of problematic digital corrections. Image stability is excellent. The entire film looks immaculate as well. (Note: This is a Region-A "locked" Blu-ray release. Therefore, you must have a native Region-A or Region-Free player in order to access its content).
