Packote de Criterion con las 25 películas del serial clásico de Zatoichi (1962-1973), protagonizadas por el icónico Shintaro Katsu. Hay una vigésimosexta película, de 1989, no incluída en el pack, hecha cuando Katsu andaba escaso de efectivo y tenía deudas que pagar. También con Katsu y parte del mismo equipo, hay una serie de TV, de 4 temporadas y 100 episodios, emitada entre los años 1975 a 1979.
