En 12 días se acaba la campaña de financiación de la restauración de estos dos clásicos italianos. Se han logrado 18.611 libras de las 20.000 libras que se necesitan para restaurar las dos películas.

Las metas que había:

Goal 1: We raise £10,000 and the psychotic LADY FRANKENSTEIN gets re-animated from its original 35mm negatives in 2K, with English and Italian audio tracks, plus newly created English subtitles.

Goal 2: We raise £20,000 and DEATH LAID AN EGG gets hatched again from the 35mm negatives in 2K, with English and Italian audio tracks, plus newly created English subtitles.

Goal 3: We raise £25,000 so we can produce fantastic extra features for both films. These will include brand new, in-depth featurettes and new audio commentaries by UK genre experts including Kim Newman and Alan Jones. These extras will be produced to the high standards associated with Nucleus Films extras work.

Puedes aportar lo que te salga del chirri, pero por 30 libras te llevas los dos blu-rays y por 60 libras te llevas los dos blu-rays más un 25% en dos volúmenes de vídeo nasty.

Aportadas 65 libras para conseguir las dos pelis en Blu-ray y los dos volúmenes de Nasty Video.

He estado muy tentado en lo de los 300 libras para ir al estudio de grabación de los audiocomentarios junto con Alan Jones y Kim Newman, dos especialistas del cine de terror, pero me cortaría mucho y no sabría qué decir, y seríamos 5 invitados + ellos.

Ya sólo quedan 300 libras y 9 días para que finalice la campaña. La restauración de un nuevo escaneo en 2K ya está prácticamente asegurado.

Por 30 libras te aseguras recibir el blu-ray de LADY FRANKENSTEIN y el blu-ray de LA MUERTE HA PUESTO UN HUEVO, dos clásicos del fantástico italiano, con postales y todo:

Se han alcanzado las 25.000 libras necesarias (25.300 libras) para la edición de las dos películas en Blu-ray, restauradas desde escaneo en 2K y además audiocomentarios y reportajes. Es magnífico que mucha gente haya aportado dinero para que estas películas salgan a la luz. No hay nada como el fan del terror.

Las editoras españolas podrían proponer crowfundings, quizás más modestos, a ver si funciona.

Aquí no necesitan crowfundings, pueden robar el master directamente de otros países, editarlo clandestinamente y venderlo en grandes superficies y tiendas online sin ningún problema. Y lo peor es que desesperados, algunos acabamos picando... da que pensar.

Han alcanzado más de 27.000 libras (frente a las 25.000 que se necesitaban!!) wowwwww!

Nucleus Films Campaign Update

Apologies for the lack of updates for a while, but we've been very busy working on these releases and they are shaping up beautifully.

We recently had an update from the Italian lab, advising us that the Lady Frankenstein restoration is nearly complete. We hope to receive the master within the next four to six weeks. We really had no idea the amount of time and effort this master has taken to painstakingly restore. We'll post screen captures as soon as it arrives at the Nucleus Films HQ. We can then begin the task of authoring both discs and eventually get them out to you all!

Rest assured, in the meantime we've been very busy shooting brand new extras for both titles. We also just completed the scanning and restoration of the beautiful set of Italian fotobustas for Lady Frankenstein, which we have attached to this update.

We're desperately searching for a complete set of Italian fotobustas and posters for Death Laid an Egg/La morte ha fatto l'uovo. Also searching for UK quad posters for Lady Frankenstein. Can you help? We will happily scan any materials supplied and return them.

Se recaudaron más de 32.000 libras de las 25.000 libras que se necesitaban para las 2 pelis más extras jugosos.

Casi 1 año después han grabado los audiocomentarios, y dicen que ya lo tienen casi todo lo listo. En fin, paciencia enorme.

¿Cómo graban los audiocomentarios?

Los habituales especialistas en cine fantástico en UK, Kim Newman y Alan Jones, aportan sus conocimientos de las 2 películas.

Parece que por fin a finales de este mes ya nos enviarán las ediciones, tras un año y 2 meses después pero ha valido la pena.

Hoy las he recibido por sorpresa total. No lo esperaba, ya estaba muy desanimado.
