***THURSDAY MID-YEAR SALE UPDATE***
Happy Thursday dear friends,
We're just over halfway through the email orders you have all so kindly sent in and have got a handle on stock counts on the special sale releases, so we're going to go ahead and re-open to take any additional orders or add to orders that anyone may have from tomorrow (Friday, July 3) at Noon PST through midnight Sunday PST.
Again, if you sent your email order to
orders@severin-films.com before we halted these orders on Monday then your order is safe and you WILL receive the special limited sale titles you ordered, even if you have yet to receive your invoice. If you still don't believe us on this, please message us via Facebook messenger and we will confirm that you order is in line to be processed. But the more people do this, the longer the process of manually inputting the orders will take. We would also like to reiterate that if you were able to make an order when the site was live last weekend, your PayPal receipt confirms we have received your order and will be honored.
The website... we have had independent experts look into the situation and while there is not a consensus of how it could have so spectacularly imploded last weekend, there is no doubt it needs a pretty major page 1 overhaul. We'll get to that once the sale is over, while the sale orders are being shipped. All the sale email orders we have processed have been manually input through the shopping cart at the site during this week and tomorrow we will nervously open the site back up so that people can place additional orders there, either new orders or adding to existing orders. Even if you have not received your invoice for your email order, you can click 'add to order' if you want to add additional items to your email order and we will honor the postage discounts, but otherwise it is best to avoid utilizing the site if you've already emailed us your orders (your order is already secure). If the site takes a shit again, then we'll resume email orders through Sunday.
Cheers!
