Refloto porque a punto de comprar el Blu Ray leo este comentario sobre el ratio en play. ¿No se habló nada de eso en su momento?

"Wrong aspect ratio & part of the image cropped

I've bought 3 versions of this title already and am starting to get upset. The sound on every one of these Blu-Rays is as good as it gets but the image is as bad as can be. The german version as well as this very version from universal are based on the same HD Master. The image is slightly squeezed which is to be noticed for example on the univeral logo at the beginning of the film. As a result of squeezing the image a noticeble part at the top of the image gets lost. The squeezing and cropping effect go for the whole running time of the movie. The overall quality is alright but the cropping is really a pain. The US version has the right ratio but has a terrible mpeg2 transfer. This one is the way to go but only if you can forgive the cropped and squeezed image. Still watchable."

Hoy he visto la de Hannibal el origen del mal en dvd, la verdad es que no me ha parecido tan mala...

A mí no solo me no me pareció tan mala, sino que hasta me gustó.

Sale a la venta una Steelbook en varios países (Alemania, Inglaterra, Taiwan...) con un diseño similar, salvo pequeñas variaciones en el caso asiático.



En el caso de UK esta edición podría incluír castellano, ya que -según la información publicada aquí- el disco original de su edición en Blu-Ray ya lo incluía, y, de hecho, aparece "spanish" anunciado entre sus características.

No obstante, en UK es una edición exclusiva de Zoom, tienda que no hace envíos internacionales. Ni siquiera a través de su cuenta de vendedores de eBay.

Si aparecen unidades en eBay a través de otros vendedores, o se encuentra alguna manera de comprarla desde aquí, podría ser una compra muy interesante. Siempre me gustó. De hecho, con los años, es la que más me gusta, y, curiosamente, la que quizá es más afín a la serie de TV que ahora se va a distribuír en España.

La he comprado a través de eBay, e incuye castellano. Es el típico disco de Universal con su habitual menú estándar donde seleccionas castellano ya al inicio.

La lata me pareció tan bonita como apropiada, con las letras "Hannibal" en relieve hacia dentro. No he tenido tiempo de verla, pero,asumiendo la incertidumbre que ello supone, avanzando un poco entre escenas me pareció que la imagen era bastante buena, al igual que el sonido.

Incluye el audiocomentario de Ridley Scott, el documental "Rompiendo el silencio: cómo se hizo Hannibal", las escenas eliminadas, y el final anternativo. Son los mismos extras que en la edición en DVD, bastante interesantes, e incluso generosos; si mal no recuerdo, hora y cuarto de documental, y media hora de escenas eliminadas.

Se pierden respecto al DVD los documentales multiángulo, trailers, spots, y fotografías.

Me ha parecido una buena compra de una película que, particularmente, con el tiempo, para mí ha ocupado cada vez un lugar de mayor peso en esta saga.

Pues... Sorpresa! Kino Lorber acaba de anunciar que editará el próximo 30 de abril en USA una nueva edición de Hannibal, que parte de una nueva restauración a 4K supervisada por el DP John Mathieson, más todos los extras que ya había desde los tiempos en DVD. Audio y subs sólo en inglés.
