A ver cuánto tarda en salir por aquí con el doblaje y lo subtítulos del DVD, y en un disco BD-R.

Es exactamente lo que pensé antes de subir la info. Veamos lo que tardan en armar el custom Blu-ray, desde esta momento, en que comienzan las negociaciones con los propietarios.

I was looking for info on this blu-ray as I saw it's also released in Spain.

If I read correctly (using google translate) it seemed like forum members were expecting this to be duplicated by a spanish studio? I have seen a studio that release a lot of blurays in Spain that all seem to be duplicates of releases from other countries (mostly small American boutique studios) and adds spanish audios and subtitles. I assume it's not authorized releases?

Back to this movie - does anyone know if the Spanish release is a duplicate of this Czech disc? I assume it is but the one review I found on amazon.es says it's poor quality (improved dvd) but the screenshots from the Czech disc don't look bad (not remastered or perfect but also not dvd quality).

I have had experience with another Spanish studio (JRB) that does what looks like terrible DVD Upscales.

Hi, abdagans! I'll try to help you albeit I am not spaniard but mexican. Spaniard fellows may add more information in further replies.

I think for duplicate you mean a bootleg edition, right? If so, u r quite right, it is a bootleg. Worse than that: This particular edition, according to an amazon user and a reliable site, is a BD-R (Recordable Blu-ray Disc), therefore it may be possible that it couldn't be played by some devices (apparently PS3 consoles reads them as pirated copies). Besides, being a BD-R may cause some issues when playing it regardless of the player. I've bought a half dozen of these spanish BD-R's (mostly without knowing what I was buying because these dudes does not advertise it on the back cover or spine). I haven't had any troubles with most of them but there has been a couple of discs that were simply way too troublesome: Freezing image every now and then, or simply the disc would stop playing at some random point.

Buying these kind of discs is like playing the russian roulette: some are good, some are not too shabby, some are kinda problematic but still watchable, some are mere crap. Anyway IF you want it really bad, you can always buy it from Amazon, then if the disc doesn't work properly you can ask for a refund to amazon.es (a replacement disk makes no sense in this case since all the copies would be BD-R's). Now, if you don't wanna play the roulette and can wait: steer clear from these kind of releases and wait for a proper release from a reputable studio.
