Y que no me venga nadie a decir que por ejemplo Lenny Bernstein "bailaba" en el podio (que lo hacía, sobre todo con sus propias composiciones). Eso es otra cosa, una combinación de estilo propio, personalidad como director de orquesta y estar pasándoselo como un niño, pero que no se confunda nadie. Técnicamente Bernstein es de los top en la historia de la disciplina, y en cualquier caso era mucho más sutil, lógicamente. Este tipo camufla con ampulosa teatralidad gestual sus (graves) carencias técnicas. Del hijo mejor no hablamos, un esperpento.

Yo creo que esto da para video parodia como aquel célebre que hicieron con Hans Zimmer, solo que en este caso diciendo la verdad:

Se ha montao unos cursos online muy raros, porque se cree que de verdad sabe de música. Un par de miembros de la orquesta se han apuntado por pena, de algo tiene que vivir el hombre.
Para él es magia, se cree que como piensa que todo suena bien, por eso suena bien. Y nosotros ensayando todo el día. Este trabajo no esta pagado."

La primera vez que vi a Diego Navarro sí me quedé atónito pero por la pasión auténtica que ponía, a ver, me hizo algo de gracia porque parecía que rompía a sudar, pero no tiene nada que ver con este caso de aquí. El lenguaje corporal, ay amigo, es más fácil pillar a un ....... que a un cojo. Que no dudo que el tío a lo mejor sepa de música y tal con un poco de suerte, pero esta sobreactuación en plan taladradora emocional... como que no. Es como en los anuncios de detergentes, el mío lava más blanco que Fosforito.
El hombre aprovecha para hacer un poquito de fitness, ya dirige la orquesta con el córtex izquierdo prefrontal.

Por alguna razón u otra, Jack Wall siempre me ha caido simpático. No es que sea un compositor especialmente original, pero desde que jugué Myst 3: Exile y Myst iv (soy fan de la saga) y su exceso sinfónico, le cogí bastante aprecio. Su parte en la serie Mass Effect es también, casi, lo que mas me gusta de ella sonoramente, y su banda sonora para Jade Empire estaba bastante trabajada.
Le he seguido poco estos ultimos años.
