Yo también he estado en el concierto de James Newton Howard. Para mi un concierto estupendo pero con algunas pegas. Primero, que he echado de menos muchos temas de JNH, y segundo que el concierto de violín del comienzo, aunque bueno, no me pegaba con el resto del concierto. Lo ideal hubiera sido o un concierto entero de música de cine o completo de música clásica, y siendo el músico que es pues uno espera que sea lo primero. Pese a ello, para mi un concierto que he disfrutado enormemente.
Otro par de obras maestras de JNH, a mi criterio, Alive y Restoration.

Bueno, esto es fantástico... e irónico. En 2010, en los jardines Kensington (¿donde si no?) de Londres hubo un espectáculo todo lo alto, con proyecciones y hologramas, del Peter Pan de Barrie... lo que no sabía es que tuvo música de Benjamin Wallfisch... ¿quién?, orquestador y amigo íntimo de toda la vida de Dario Marianelli. Orquesta de 80 miembros, poca broma.

Como tantos compañeros del foro, el 29 de noviembre compré el pack "The John Williams Jurassic Park Collection". El paquete me lo enviaron el 5 de diciembre pero desde el día 6 no se ha vuelto a actualizar su estado (me lo han mandado con USPS) y con las Navidades a la vuelta de la esquina no sé si estaré en casa para cuando llegue. Es mi primera compra a La-la-land Records por eso os pido un poco de información a los veteranos del foro, ¿en España quién entrega sus paquetes enviados con USPS, correos o mensajería privada tipo Seur, Mrw? ¿Hay que firmar o abandonan el paquete en el buzón?
aluceO, los envíos de La-La Land llegan por correos (puede que en estas fechas, se diera el caso de que fuera Express, pero no creo). No hace falta firmar, por lo general; si no estás en casa, probablemente deberás ir a recoger el paquete en tu sucursal de Correos a partir del siguiente día del intento de envío.
A mí tampoco me ha llegado, de hecho, tengo pedidos atascados en Madrid desde el día 1...![]()
, aunque en estas fechas suele ser habitual por el mayor volumen de envíos que hay.
PD: Por cierto, como era de esperar, la reedición de Agnes de Dios ya está agotada...
