Lo curioso es que el AVC-A11XV no lleve escaler y este que es de la gama inferior si lo lleve, y además se podrá actualizar el scaler a 1080p en un futuro.

No dice eso. Dice que podrá recibir y enviar señales a 1080p, no que pueda escalar hasta esa resolución. En cualquier caso, un equipo a tener muy en cuenta.

Me han recomendado un NAD T773 y por lo que he probado de Stereos NAD siempre han sido competentes a buen precio. Este DENON es más versátil en conectividad y más competente manejando video, pero es comparable en sonido a un NAD?

Vinie, un consejo que te va a ayudar, lo primero; eschucha cajas hasta que se te caigan las orejas, y cuando y ya lo tengas claro...elige un receptor AV adecuado para moverlas, no al revés.
